Wasnāt really hard at all. Hardest part was attempting to put the hoof insulation back up by myself. Once I had the wife hold one side up, it went easy. The OEM louvers have 4 nuts that come off and they pull right out. No 3M tape on them at all. The new louvers only have two studs needing...
Received my new hood louvers from Sam Galloway Ford today and naturally had to install them right away. Going with the Gloss over Matte was definitely the right choice.
Iām not going to attempt a true ceramic coat. I consider the sprays whether it be Nexgen, Adamās, etc to be nothing but a sudo spray wax and as such I donāt expect any of them to last longer than maybe 3-4 months. The price is usually a dead giveaway when it comes to staying power.
I had a 19 that had the same characteristics and hated it. The Sport mode, not the car. Iāve tried the Sport mode once in my 22 and the feeling hasnāt changed at all. Iām a believer itās just the nature of the beast. Awesome in WOT but terrible around town.

LOL. You make it sound easy. For this old man nothing is easy anymore. Before the Adamās I did a paint correction using Chemical Guys V36. Using the orbital polisher just wears me out. But, thanks for liking it. I want to see how the Adamās holds up compared to the Nexgen I used on my wifeās new...
Yup. Thatās the one I ordered but I ordered it from Sam Galloway Ford since they actually had it in stock at an even lower price. Received notice of shipping this morning.
Want a new set of hood louvers. Not worried about them being functional. I 5hing they will look good with my Black accent package. the whole package is Gloss black. Should I stick with that or can I get away with a matte or satin for the louvers. Common sense tells me to keep it all matching but...
No direct view ones. Hereās kind of a side view. Wasnāt impressed with the fit either. Even pressing on these pretty hard there was no give to fill the gap. They didnāt look bad looking at them straight away but I would have known and that probably would have drove me nuts. Sending them back in...
