I think the title says it all.
They've exhibited a tremendous amount of patience with my questions and concerns, and have handled both excellently. The guys are awesome.
I just installed the JLT CAI with a Lund tune tonight, noticed lots of differences good and bad, but probably not enough miles with them yet to truly weigh in yet. I do love the CAI though.
Finally installed my JLT CAI and Lund tune via Lethal Performance tonight.
Took it out for a roundabout drive, still too much traffic to be able to truly open it up, but I did notice some differences, good and bad.
Once I get the Borla S Types installed this weekend, I'm driving up to Vegas so...
Just wondering on the switchcbacks...
I received them earlier this week, put them aside until i had some time to put them on. Went to put them in today and noticed that 1) both of them are scratched and dinged up pretty good, almost as if someone else had already installed and then returned, 2)...
Thanks to all of you for the great info.
I think I am just going to upgrade the exhaust for now and get used to that before I do anything else.
Tune will likely be next after that, still weighing the CAI as I've read enough from others suggesting that the stock CAI is pretty damn good and maybe...
Thank you all for the comments, I am learning as I go, I probably should have offered up some more background. This is not and will not be a daily driver, simply a weekend escape vehicle for us.
Windows came tinted, even though I had explicitly told the dealer not to touch the car, but he...
For those that have used both approaches in the past, which is better and why?
With a phased in approach, you can spread the cash outlay and mod one at a time to truly get a feel for what each component can do.
With all at once, it's a bigger cash hit up front but everything is done at once...
I used Xplan myself which got the car for about 3500 under MSRP and then another 1500 in rebates on top, I was happy, pretty happy, as that was the first time using that kind of program.
Xplan is the way to go if you're not interested in squeezing every last nickel out of them and dont...
One guy asked me if he could take pictures of it to show his son while I was getting gas, his kid was a mustang junkie.
At a stoplight, a guy in a brand new Charger R/T said he was going to trade it in for a mustang after seeing mine. I smoked him off the line too, and we WERE racing. He...
Just curious, where exactly is this dealership? I see you're in Scottsdale, all the dealerships I know in the PHX area are huge (Camelback, Sanderson, Berge, etc)
So for those that bought the Premium Package and then installed after market handling:
1) Why buy the PP if you're then going to spend good money installing additional handling, wasn't that the point of buying the PP in the first place?
2) How do you measure or quantify the impact the after...
With all the complaints I have to ask, is there a reason why Ford used the "Normal" setting as the default?
Wouldn't it have been just as easy to use "Sport" as the default, with the ability to dial up (Track) and down (Normal) more sensible?
Yes and no.
I built out the exact car I wanted online (DIB GT with PP and AP and a couple of other specific features) and it shows as 1 dealer having in stock. Turns out it wasn't actually in stock, it was en route, waited 2 weeks for it to show up.
I considered it a sign that the very specific...
