If you don't mind, could you share which shop?
I've got all of my parts lined up, and while I could try to do it myself, I just don't have a whole weekend to dedicate to it, so I would prefer to have the professionals do it.
FRPP track package, Steeda stop the hop, G-Trak, diff busing, MGW...
I still can't find any pictures of DIBs running the gloss black.
However, since I also have the anniversary package, I'm intrigued at what DIB with something that highlights the chrome accents of the AP would look like.
Anyone have pictures, or good with Photoshop?
I am planning on putting on the track pack with the Steeda stop the hop package and k member all at once, in the next couple of weeks.
I don't anticipate there being any issues, one or two other guys on here have done the same, I'll have to track down their threads.
The track package is an upgrade over the street, but does use a couple of similar parts as the performance package (bolded)
Handling Pack Includes:
Assembled Front Struts and rear shocks M-18000-F
Track Lowering Springs M-5300-Y
Performance Pack Upper Strut Mounts
Jounce Bumper Kit M-5570-B...
The street package is effectively the performance package with "street" lowering springs.
Street Handling Pack includes the below, bolded those that are the performance pack:
Assembled Front Performance Pack Struts
Performance Pack Rear Shocks
M-5300-X Street Lowering Springs
Performance Pack...
This thread needs some black wheels on DIB. Anyone?
Since I have a DIB, maybe Paul from Need4Speed could use me as the guinea pig? These are definitely the wheels I want, just need to figure out size. and tires, of course.
At $1000, you could do Steeda's stage 1 and stage 2 packages, or their stop the hop package and the G Trak brace.
For a little more, you could do their GT handling package.
Alternatively, for about $1000 you could do the FRPP street or track handling packages.
I think BMR has some similar...
I have a 2015 GT Premium with Performance Package that I bought in January 2015. Even though I've had it close to a year now, I've only put about 2500 miles on the car, it's a weekend only car for me, always garaged unless I'm driving it. I live in Phoenix so rain, snow, salt, humidity, etc...
I actually have my stock GT exhaust. Roughly 1500 miles on it before I took it off for the Borla S Types. It's sitting in my garage just taking up space.
Got my steeda K member and diff bushing inserts in the mail today. Stop the hop package didn't come with it though, it's on back order, so i guess I'll be waiting a bit to put them all on.
Wiped the car down and was horrified to see the water spots on the paint. Damn DIB, so hard to keep...
I went with the lifetime subscription on both of my cars that came with the factory sirius/xm radios.
Yes, it's a lot more up front, but the breakeven (the last time I ran it for myself anyways) was right around 4.5 years. Since I tend to keep my cars no less than 8 years, it's a no brainer...
If it helps, I am going to do the FRPP handling package with the G Trac and IRS Stop the Hop package.
There's one or two others with the exact same thing, they rave about it. Haven't made up my mind yet about the differential bushings yet, which is why I haven't done it yet.
Agree with Todd, your dad was definitely watching over that car.
Plainville, I lost a few nights at Fitzy's Pub back in the day. Growing up, the only McDonald's around was in Plainville, that's where we had to go to get our Big Mac fixes until they build one in Norton.
I'm a Mansfield guy...
Wow, that's some serious damage right there. Sorry about the car loss, and for all intents and purposes losing your dad all over again.
Can we ask what happened?
And where in Mass are you? One of your older posts made me think you live awfully close to where I grew up, something about 10 mins...
I started playing today, not very good at it quite yet, but willing to race with and lose to anyone on here looking to pick up extra points. AZ cat herder on XBox.
