I have tried and tried to figure out a way to do that --- I still might. I thought I could just replace a gauge, but if you take apart the performance pack, they are not individual circular gauges, but one flat connected board. I don't use either of those gauges so would be perfect for me.

No, it is not blocking anything from MY view. From the angle of the pic, I'd have to be a 4 foot granny with my eyes level with the top of the wheel. I wasn't trying to convince you to do it, and as the post states, it's not for everyone.

love aftermarket stripes for this car. can get what you really want, can change entire look of car by changing stripes, and can peel them off if ever want. anyone who buys a car like this should be able to do whatever the heck they want.

I did't say overpaying mattered to FORD, but it most certainly matters to the dealer, and it's the dealer who submits the order. that's where I believe the "favors", good-ol boy stuff comes in. My dealer told me that his Ford rep "did him a solid and moved me up." I didn't expect it to me...

I was number 9 on my local dealer (Rogers) list and I've bought 15 cars from them. I had to go to Pennsylvania to find an allocation I was happy with. That drive home is gonna be fun.

i'm also assuming that the more you paid, the faster the dealership wants your car in to "get their money." No idea. I paid 10k over but I know many paid much more than that. it is very odd (not that I'm complaining) that I got a VIN 4 days after order placed.
