I just ordered the RTR vents. The Air Design ones look great but I think a lot of crap will build up and don't want to have to remove them all the time to clean them. The RTR vents also seem like they MAY actually improve cooling since they seem to create more of a low pressure area to draw more...
Was getting tired of the IATs at idle and low speed with my PMAS so started messing around near the factory snorkel to see if I could block off the backwash from the radiator (large gap between radiator and heat shield so it's just sucking in all the hot air from there)
Realized I had a...
I went with Beith after being extremely unhappy with the build quality and looks (especially the alcantara quality) of an eBay steering wheel that is very popular. It's not cheap, but it is worth it. You can customize it however you want, the build quality is factory or better, and his customer...
Installed the eBay euro tail lights. They're manufactured by Vland but don't have the amber function (which I don't care for) so they're $100 less. The nice part about that is I didn't have to do the 3rd brake light wiring thing so they were just a 5 minute plug and play. Still have to change...
Around here they seem to be a lot more expensive. I got my 2018 GT Premium for less than the 2016 base SS Camaros were going for. Not sure why. I was actually close to buying a black 2016 SS 6 speed before I found my car. I do hate the visibility on Camaros though and here in the bay area it...
I now have 70k miles on my 2018. Yes, 70k. Had the BBQ tick and 2k rpm rattle the whole time and no issues at all. Also had the BBQ tick on my old 2012 and had a similar but more quiet rattle as well and it had no issues for the 165k miles I had it. I don't baby my cars either.
Not sure if I've posted my new setup. SVE R355 19x10 front 19x11 rear. 285/35 front 305/35 rear. No spacers. I am going to be going to a 325/30/19 setup in the rear soon because the traction on these Nitto NT555 G2s is absolutely terrible. You guys think I'll rub?
changed the oil, and fixed the annoying loud rattling noise i had at highway speeds. turns out my driver side plastic rocker panel/side sill was missing some push pins and was flapping around. popped some new push pins in, rattling noise gone. not sure why i didn't check this before.
hmm so you are still dealing with it then. i've noticed it doesn't cause any other issues in terms of driveability or anything it's just annoying when it pops up. i wonder if i should just deal with it.
Did they have to cycle them manually (by hand) or is there some way to do it by doing certain things in terms of drive cycles in the vehicle? I've been dealing with this issue for a while, but I know my warranty won't cover it since I'm tuned and on E85. It has gotten a lot better since...
