I'd easily take a Scat Pack 392 Chally just as much as a 15 Mustang. Beautiful car, just a monster of an engine, and the best automatic trans in the business especially for that massive V8. The only reasoj I ultimately went with my Stang is because I couldnt fit the Chally in my garage and I...
Dont worry, when you get the 5.0 you wont even spend one minute thinking about the supposedly softer leather. Its a 350 option. That aint no higher quality leather. Its likely more vinyl with a softer touch. None of the non seat leather stuff like fhe doors and dash in the premiers is leather at...
Does it matter? I mean the Camaro outsold the Mustang virtually every quarter since it was reintroducsd in 2010. These are meaningless numbers though, I dont care how many sold I just want the right car for me.
Yeah. You could get 21.3 pretty easily with XPlan and then rebates, but 19 seems a little low. By the end of the model year itd be a lot easier to get sub 20s.
Uh what I said is 100% true. No its not possible for any normal human with a heartbeat who isnt sitting there focused ALL THE TIME on every drive to achieve anything near 25 long term on the 5.0. I said it and I stand by it. Dont give me your little oh I did 25 once on the freeway on a stretch...
Heh I can only imagine what an absolute ***** youd have to drive as on the same car that I have to get 25. Yeah, if its theoretically possible? Sure it is. Nobody would ever drive a GT that way. I mean you wouldnt get a GT in the first place if you drove like that. If I didnt have the car in...
Those instant nunbers mean nothing. I guarantee you there isnt a GT owner out there who has anything near a 25 on their cumulative MPG read out in the guages. Not anywhere close. Under 20 for most.
It was reserved for the Limited Edition for this model year. So yeah no GT PP autos. They have all the equipment to make it happen, they swap a 3.55 rear end for the 3.73s the manual PPs get. Maybe next year.
As an owner of a GT, the 5.0 will NEVER get 25 mpg. Start off with that as a flaw in your post. But regardless, who really cares? If youre sitting there crunching numbers to see how much gas is per day you probably are too poor to buy a GT in the first place. I never even think about such things.
They would have kept the V6 forever if CAFE wasnt dramatically increasing each year starting this year. All this ecoboost is cool stuff is because they have to sell ecoboosts from this point forward, and thw V8 cant really even exist in a few years. For those that dont realize, the auto makers...
Those pictures really aren't very representative of what ruby red looks like at all in person. Theres some strange color effects going on there in the OPs message. Ive seen one in person outside on multiple days and it has never ever reflected everything like those pictures show. It looks almost...
Even if you do it at a shop its not expensive. Essentially 1 hour labor cost, at most 2 hours. No additional fees because all it is for most of the catbacks is bolt off, bolt on. Thats it.
You have to wonder what kind of pansy would worry about the hardness of the interior material when theyre sitting behind a 440 horsepower V8. Thats my take ;-)
Who is this ThePill guy? He speaks so assertively about crap he has no idea about. He spent 5 posts talking about a 1LE before he even realized its a similar package like the track pack on the GTs that can be added to bases or premiums. I mean I knew that even from my cursory research knowledge...
Filled up for the second time yesterday. No issues. Its even easier than my last Ford with capless. You have to stick the nozzle all the way. I never hold on to the pump while filling so I use auto stop every time and have had no problems. Wonder if its the pump, just user error, or the actual...
