Not sure if I'd buy the PP again, on paper it doesn't make sense. But, it drives totally different than my wife's auto. But, a good set of shocks would really help the none pp car. It is what it is, I have what I have. I'd rather have an auto for boost, but I love driving a stick. My knee gets...
I know how you feel. 1,800 miles, less than 3 weeks, I slid mine into a ditch at 60. Ditch wasn't smooth, hit a big dirt pile with the passenger door and went airborne. $8,200 in damage. Life goes on. Rain and cool weather on these summer tires, very unpredictable.
I'm just finishing up a header, exhaust, and tune install, but I'm really excited about the gt350 manifold. Why? Same reason I didn't pick the camaro over the mustang, I like the high rpm pull. It's all about how the car makes me feel. Pretty sure this car will never see a track, it's a...
I can't stand road noise, sounds like my bmr bushings are gonna add even more, delrin. So, catless headers and Corsa extreme should take care of the road noise.
I've got a radio shack slp meter, so I'll do some comparisons between my car and my wife's car.
I had a Corsa on my 99 Trans Am, back when they were somewhat new, loved the noise it made. Been a Corsa fan since then. I've got a Corsa extreme with ARH headers waiting in my shop, and the car on jack stands, with no time to work on it.
My Evo was catless, at first it bugged me, smelled like my lawn mower. But I grew to like it, especially on the cool damp mornings. Now that Evo is gone, I really miss it. No worries though, ARH headers and Corsa extreme are waiting for me in my shop, if I ever get around to installing them.
When I was younger, in the ford showroom, drooling over new 5.0 mustang, knowing I couldn't afford the car or the insurance, sales man suggested a 4 banger with a wing. I really didn't know what to say. Years later I bought a new 95 mustang gts, 5.0, but without the wing.
I owned a C5Z a few years ago, bone stock, but that exhaust noise would give me goosebumps!! My mustang gt, bone stock, will put me to sleep!! I will fix this, soon!!
Oh, and Welcome!!
Ordered my Delrin cradle bushings, Poly diff bushings, and RLCA bearings. Might be overkill for a street car, but hey, sounds like a good idea. I've got tools and a shop, so I can take my time.
