  1. Anyone trade down from a GT to an Ecoboost?

Crickets...LOL, my guess would be because they daily it and want to save money on payment and gas. I can't think of any other reason besides maybe less strain on their garage floor or floor jack.

  5. Automatic Shifter Replacement

The button is just pushed by a plastic rod that goes down to a lower spring. I drilled a 1/2 in hole then went deeper w a hole size of the rod So when u push down on the ball it acts like the button. I got a new full black ball instead. The eight ball I had laying around the house at the...
  6. Official Square Setup Picture / Specs / Handling Characteristics Thread

Im running 295/30/20 squared with 20x10 +45mm offset. The rears sit flush with no spacers. I'm dropped 1in in back and 1.25 up front. The fronts sit just a hair in but I used a 1/4 spacer just for a little more. Any bigger spacer than that and you dont have enough thread for your lugs (at...
  7. Think this would be a nice adder to the Ecoboost

Or just get the GT extractors and cut your own holes too.
  8. Super niche topic. Has anyone put wheel tape/rimstripes on their wheels?

I just got regular automobile pin stripe from a friend of mine who manages an auto body shop locally. It was double striped so I had to take a razor blade and cut just one stripe out for 40 pieces. Just cleaned the wheels and stuck it on. Took me an hour per wheel though, LOL. Since I just...
  9. Rear camber adjustment Pics - how to

Thanks for the tips. Ended up using 18mm deep socket on passenger side and 18mm wrench on the driver side. I took the bolt out holding the fuel line or whatever that line is in the way to be able to move it around a little. I turned the bolt loose so that the arm drops on its own. Then I...
  10. Rear camber adjustment Pics - how to

That's exactly why I'm going to do it since half the idiots out there will do the same. Once you loosen the bolt can u just pull on the top of wheel or rotor to pull it out and adjust? Then go back under and tighten?
  11. Rear camber adjustment Pics - how to

I'm getting ready to adjust mine since my car is lowered about 1 in the rear. How do you get to the driver side bolt with the pipe that comes up in the way? Also, do you have to lift the car and take the wheel off I assume. Then adjust, tighten and put the wheel back on, lower to figure out...
  12. Foxbody swap? Why has nobody done it yet?

  14. Velossa Tech Design - BIG MOUTH development

Ive only had mine for about a month so not sure how the bugs are since it's getting cold now here in Missouri. I just moved back from Florida 2 years ago. Miss the winters there for sure. The velossa is made for the GT grill, not sure if the ecoboost grill will benefit from it. You would def...
  15. Modifying As-Built Data Guide

The forscan has a "lite" iphone app but its the basic I believe so you can probably scan your cars data but will not be able to change the values. If you have the PC bluetooth computer I would just use that and get the bluetooth device listed on amazon on the first page of this thread...
  16. A growing appreciation for the 2.3l sound

I thought I would never like the sound or never get aftermarket exhaust. After installing the MBRP race catback I changed my mind. Sounds awesome with turbo spooling. Deep and throaty, at least 4 banger deep. LOL. I then added a catless downpipe and sounded horrible to me. Couldnt just...
  17. Modifying As-Built Data Guide

Im NOT using an ios device (iphone, ipad, ipod). I'm using my apple computer (imac) and software (vmware which has windows installed) and forscan (windows based program) Your computer that you use must have bluetooth equipped.
  18. Modifying As-Built Data Guide

Yes. U can use VMware. That's what I used running windows 10 and worked just fine besides having to lug a huge iMac out to the garage since my windows laptop didn't have Bluetooth. I was going to order the wifi version but the reviews on amazon weren't that good so stuck w the Bluetooth.
  19. Modifying As-Built Data Guide

No problem. I got it working. Had to improvise. Lol. All working. I guess after the master reset Sirius works again. I'm assuming it's a trial like when u buy ur car? I don't have a subscription....
