    Had a similar issue finding a reasonably priced tool for the job. Reached out to Tim @optimum_performace and his suggestion of hitting the side of the spindle with a mini sledge broke the stud free after a few whacks. No special tools needed.

    I'm curious to see how you installed your oil temp sensor. I recently installed the Mishimoto oil cooler as well. Getting the oil temp sensor in the sandwich plate is tough and puts the sensor very close to the alternator. I will likely remove the sensor from the plate and put a NPT adapter...
