According to Ford Taiwan, which imports the EU model, we have the Torsen diff in our GTs. The EcoBoost versions come equipped with the Traction-Lok (clutch pack) LSD. Probably best to ask your local Ford rep?
Yes, and already have it installed. The 19" P51 wheels I was using had barrel clearance issues so I went with the 20" P51. Keep in mind that the rear hubs extend outwards 6mm more than the stock GT ones.
That battery voltage seems a bit low. Have you tried swapping out to a new battery to test? From my experience, low battery voltage sometimes contributes to inaccurate sensor readings.
I have the stock active exhaust with just the Lethal Performance H-pipe and I think it sounds great! Nice rumble, some pops and crackle on decel, most importantly: no rasp! Quiet is still stock quiet while normal, sport, and track are a little louder but definitely a lower richer tone with no drone.
I believe you need MPVI2 and use the beta version of the VCM Suite in order to properly datalog 18+ cars. Still not sure if you'll be able to datalog aftermarket OS though.
Here in Taiwan, new cars only have their first inspection after 5 years so 2023. I'll probably have returned it to stock and traded in for another car by then. :sunglasses:
Gas particulate filter? Where is that located? I have a Euro spec MY18 GT and my tune from a local tuner works just fine. Perhaps some cars in the EU have this filter and others don't depending on the country?
Most of us here use the Motul 300V series or Redline. Don't think they specifically state that they meet Ford oil specs. If you are concerned about your warranty and have finicky Ford dealers in your area, it would probably be best if you use a 5W40 oil that is specifically labeled as meeting...
Yeah, the 10R80 has been out for a while now on the Mustang and still no one knows what's the correct trans fluid level... much less how we can mod it to increase it's durability.
Here in Taiwan, cap says 5w20 but Ford Taiwan recommends 5w30. Most EBs here are running 5w40 and GTs are running 5w40 or 15w50. Our weather here is more than 30C for most of the year with only some dips into the teens in the winter. Some of the 18 GTs here have the "tick" but they all go away...
Cheers! Hoping someone can clear this up. I know how to deal with the 6R80 but clueless regarding the 10R80. Don't trust the Ford dealerships here in Taiwan....
Ok, I've seen the Ford service PDF concerning checking the transmission fluid levels on the 10R80. It says that the fluid level on the dipstick @96-100C should be at the center of the middle checkered zone labelled “B”. There are three zones labeled "A", "B", and "C". Since that PDF is for the...
Try checking all your grounds. My friend and I installed a UPR catch can on his EB Mustang a few weeks ago and same thing happen. We couldn't figure out what could have gone wrong with a simple catch can install. Turned out the ground where the catch can bracket was installed wasn't grounded...
