are you honestly comparing a Rock island 1911 to a kimber?
Lets see... Made int he US vs in the Philippines.
Servicing two markets. kimber is now very mid-tier
RIA is budget, at best.
my kimber was manufactured in 1998. It happens to have a serial that ends in 1911.
It...
why would they have to drop the headliner?
Theyll hide the edges in the water channel on the roof. As long as they cut straight and install properly, the only think that need be removed is the sharkfin cover for the antenna.
I had mine done in satin black ( black car).
No, I just drive mine.
the pair of TT vehicles that I own dont turn so good.
My gt350 has a procharger kit parked next to it in my garage. I just havent had the time to install it yet, as I'm performing some supporting mods with it.
come back to play once you've graduated from the...
good luck paying for someone else to turn wrenches for you.
That "1200 hp" car cant push more than 800 at the crank without destroying half of the drivetrain.
for as many street outlaw class wins that procharged mustangs have, coupled with the fact that for all of that hellion money...
the 3 grand leftover from procharger over turbos creates $$$ to make it a non-stock motor.
There is a Houston area procharged 2015 that is also running a 200 shot that is a MONSTER. SHE is also a fantastic driver and has quite a few track kills against TT cars.
She destroyed me last year...
3m also makes a clear, UV blocking & heat reflecting 100% clear film that goes on the inside of the glass.
It works wonders to maintain your dash and prevent dashboard cracking.
it's also interesting that a competent driver will turn faster lap times in a gt350 vs those in a huracan lp580.
can anything always be better? yep.
all things considered did ford knock it out of the park? yep.
the cooler kit comes with all sorts of bits that you dont need.
Order the duct, the radiator and the support bracket. The rest of the stuff you dont need.
you'll hit the hardware store for a few bolts and use aftermarket for the rest.
I know i used a straight 1/2" NPT to 8an straight for the return in transmission fitting. I had to trim it down to create enough space for the 90" AN fitting and the trans tunnel.
I used a 90degree 1/2" npt to 8an fitting on the drain.
For these two fittings, DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN. the plug...
i'll take some pictures for you this weekend. I also used DEI heatshield on my lines where they got anywhere close to hot parts.
I have to look and doublecheck which fittings i used. I had quite a few AN fittings in my parts boxes, so not crystal clear.
i actually moved the passenger side to the drivers side and vice versa.
I found that the oil cooler made more sense on the passenger side.
:headbonk::lol::thumbsup:
RB also sells all the fittings that you need with the pump.
I'd recommend the 2gal model, which is what i have for my trans cooler pump.
Very quiet. I've used them before on other vehicles. they hold up well.
also fits great here.
It doesnt need to be on all the time. I have mine on a...
I'm in on a set of lines. Don't trust any ford dealer to work on my junk anymore.
I'll go to the dealer and pick up the recall lines, but will keep them in a bag in favor of the AN bits. Hopefully that will clear the recall tag on the car.
mods.. can you please clean the drivel out of this thread and bring it back to the technical so that folks that have yet to solve their problem might actually find useful information in this thread?
I have no way of knowing whether my DSS CF driveshaft or the shifter added the NVH to my car. It doesnt really bother me. it's a freaking racecar.
I'm actually wondering how much lighter the gen2 bits are.
with that being said, george probably wouldnt take my money, but i'd be happy to pay...
