  1. Had a drive in ecoboost - very impressed

The GT feels a little bit faster, but not a lot. It's mainly in the upper rpms. The EB is a damn fine choice if you are not going to miss the V8 sound.
  2. 11.49 pass build thread

Sick run! What's your 0-60 and what g forces are you seeing?
  3. VTT Stage 2 update thread, silicone charge, and intake piping

Looks very promising. I'm really jealous that I don't live in the US!
  4. GT350 imported to Europe

Don't mix this up guys. Geiger cars is a German Company that sells mainly to German customers. We don't have these crazy emission taxes and insurances like other EU countries. A GT costs around 350€ per year in taxes and that's about it. We have crazy gas prices, but that's another story. The EU...
  5. fLEXIng Some 2.3L Muscle

    can't wait for results!
  6. Ecoboost versus 350

That's awesome! More vids please =)
  7. 2.3 EB Test Drives

If you are fine with the sound of an I4 then you will be alright ;) the stock GT sound isn't really overwhelming either. A tune will improve the power and torque curve of the EB alot as well, if you are open for tuning. Both cars are fine as they come though. It's a sweet ride for the money and...
  8. 2.3 EB Test Drives

Hold on, am I reading this correctly? You haven't driven a GT yet, but you can make a comparison? I have driven the GT plenty of times and I own an EB. I can ease your mind about this. They are not that far away from each other concerning punch or felt power as you might think. The GT pulls...
  9. 25.6k, Base Ecoboost + PP. Worth?

Get the PP ;) it's worth it
  10. Does the 2.3 have a glass jaw??

Probably, because 95% of cars over here are manual and people usually don't downshift when overtaking on the Autobahn. We also get advised all the time to upshift as soon as possible to save gas. The manufacturers must be aware of that I guess or else we should see blown up cars every day.
  11. Ecoboost Engine Blown?

If I compare this to any other turbo performance car on the market, the EB Mustang surely is not more prone to engine blowing / failure than other models / manufacturers. You will find lots of threads about blown up BMWs, STIs, Golf GTIs, Nissans and whatnot... All these cars are rather mass...
  12. Ecoboost Engine Blown?

Sounds like his stock block has / had issues. You can not make a general assumption out of one case.
  13. Ecoboost Engine Blown?

Guys relax. 3 cars (!) out of hundreds means nothing. Just follow the basic rules for turbo cars, get a quality tune and follow some common sense. Chances are very good that your car will be fine for a very long time. Seriously, you are making too big of a deal out of this.
  14. Is 531hp a lot for n/a coyote

Depends on the torque and hp curve. Peak numbers don't tell alot.
  15. Need help deciding on new '16 EB vs. used '15 EB

Don't buy an EB without test driving the GT if you even have the slightest feeling of doubt on your mind. Or else, if your heart demands the GT, you will pay for that mistake with good money that could've been spent better when you trade your EB for a GT. And this happened to quite a few people...
  16. Need help deciding on new '16 EB vs. used '15 EB

Gt350? If it doesn't have an R it's not a Mustang ;) or better yet, wait for a GT500. Everything else is just a compromise and not worth it.
  17. Need help deciding on new '16 EB vs. used '15 EB

I would say do that before you buy an EB so you won't question your purchase afterwards. I did too and it wasn't really overwhelming in comparison. Great engine for sure, but it barely felt stronger. Not worth the extra 50-60% gas it consumes imo. But to each his own... Over here one gallon is...
