  1. Heresy or Insanity?

So tell me if I am crazy....... Like most, I love to mod my vehicles. I've avoided cosmetic mods to the Bullitt, but I keep thinking about two. First, I love the front clip of the GT500, and the Bullitt front end is my least favorite part of the car. It's not bad, but not great and the GT500...
  2. Interesting discovery

I've been playing around with the steering settings and drive modes and came to an interesting discovery a few weeks ago. Had a few minutes to post and needed a distraction, so figured I'd post. The Steering effort in Sport+ and Track are very different, even though the steering setting...
  3. Well this will break some hearts.

I know that the convertible weighs a bit more than the coupe but these results were very surprising.https://www.motor1.com/news/562435/vw-jetta-races-ford-mustang/
  4. Real World Steeda Strut/Shock feedback

Last year, I put the Steeda Sport Springs on my non Magna Ride 2020 Bullitt. At the time I had maybe 7K miles and though they improved the look, stance, and handling, it seems to me at 13K the stock shocks/struts are kaputz. I did not like the speed shop experience or cost to have the springs...
  5. Let's talk spacers...

I have 1 in steeda spacers that I initially put on my front tires. Since then I did the steeda lowering springs and found that on large bumps the tires rubbed the inside of the wheel well liner. I'd really like to push the tires out a little bit further and think the one inch spacers will work...
  6. Good Tint/Wrap shop in Columbia SC

Just moved to the Midlands of South Carolina, and looking for a good window tint shop and to talk about getting my Bullitt wrapped. Love the car, but hate the black paint. I've had many black cars over the years, but this is the worst, even with Ceramic coating. I'm thinking of getting the car...
  7. Long term storage and battery tender

Gonna be taking another all expense paid fun filled year long trip to the sandbox across the Atlantic this. summer. Due to all the computer crap in the Bullitt, my normal routine of stabilized fuel, fresh oil, overpressured tires, and disconnected batteries I normally do in all my cars and...
  8. Traded my Bullitt for a Mach E today

I also changed my gender, started drinking skim milk, gave up cigars and joined Green Peace and PETA..... Such a GREAT DAY!!!
  9. Hysterical but TRUE

Military will get this.....:crackup::crackup: https://www.militarytimes.com/off-duty/military-culture/2021/03/17/with-chevy-halting-production-of-the-camaro-junior-enlisted-must-find-purpose-elsewhere/?fbclid=IwAR2oyVrfg94UPI44RvX_6qwFf6p3sW7vb0M3QtHorO9k85Kiaq1-UCLaucw
  10. Bullitt owners only - How old are you?

In looking at those who post not only in the general mustang thread but in the bullitt thread specifically, I'm getting the impression that most Bullitt owners are 50 and older. I'll go first. 56 - 2020 Bullitt
  11. Transmission Gear Oil

What are you guys/gals using for trans gear oil? Thinking about changing, and looking at the RP Syntax (or whatever it is called) Any other better options? I'd like to change out at around 5K miles and get rid of the cold hesitation into second. I don't have the 3rd gear lockout some have...
  12. ECU Hacks

Some S550's have the feature/capability of 'auto opening' the windows by pressing and holding the unlock button on the remote. Seems that there is no corresponding 'auto close' by pressing the lock button. Not really familiar with Ford products, but on some of my cars, there are aftermarket...
  13. Couple of pending mods.

Okay... Let's talk oil catch cans. I understand the purpose and benefits of having an oil catch can or oil air separator. What I'm trying to figure out on the S550 is whether or not two are required. Because the motor obviously has two Banks it has a PCV breather hose on both sides. So am I...
  14. Installed Steeda Parts today.

Installed the Steeda Front Brace, IRS Brace and Jacking Rails today, was about 1.5 hours total as I had access to a lift. Definitely recommend using a torque wrench on these parts. Had I not, I bet many of the bolts would be under torqued. Very happy with the results, only 30 miles so far, but...
  15. Least Favorite thing on your S550

This is more related to the S550 Mustang in General, but as I have a Bullitt, figured I'd put this here. I'm completely new to Mustangs (still adjusting to the reality) but overall, I am very impressed and pleased with my Bullitt and think that Ford has done a great job overall. There are a few...
  16. Square Tire Setup

ANyone running a Square tire setup on your Bullitt? Or are the rims different width as well? Would prefer this long term when I replace the factory rubber..
