Ford makes money either way. One they ship a car they are paid. Doesn't matter stock or retail. Many post here say they build the stock ones first and they may be correct. Especially since the first cars go through extra QC. That way in theory customers wouldn't get a possible early problem car.

All you who have Vin's. Were your orders put in as Dealer orders or Customer? Mine was a customer order and just shows equip no vin yet.
