Finally picked up my ecoboost premium last night and I can't believe how amazing it is. I'll write a full review sometime this week or weekend after I get some more alone time with her  For now though, I agree with what everyone has been saying about how refined it is. It's light years...
You count the day you're on because it's not over yet so you still have to wait that day. Plus if the countdown says 0 days, that implies the car is here since it is saying you don't have to wait anymore. If I were to tell you Ill give you $100 a week from today. That means you have to wait one...
Just a note about the accuracy of cotus, mine was delivered yesterday (final EDD on cotus after it jumping around a bunch was 11/05), but cotus still shows it as in transit, even though I already have my keys in hand! So be sure to contact the dealer a couple days before your EDD on cotus to...
That's what I assumed originally too, but both PP and non-PP cars seem to be pulling power after 5,500 rpm and it was suggested this was because of temperature issues. I'm really interested to see what COBB is able to find out about what is causing this issue and how to correct it though...
I'll post better pics this weekend, but here are some from at the dealership. As every other person has said, this car looks amazing in person. The pictures really dont do it justice. And I LOVE the blue a lot more than I thought I would. Its a lot brighter than it looks in the pics...
They haven't even released specs yet, so I think it's too soon to call it a disappointment. Ya, it's a bit uhh... interesting looking to put it nicely, but who knows, maybe what's under the hood could make it worth while.
From what I've read on here, the cooling is being limited by the intercooler, not the radiator. So there shouldn't be any significant difference between the two since they have the same intercooler.
Hmm... hope it's not an issue or anything serious. Thanks for the reply.
As for the feel of the shifter, I should be getting my car by Wednesday. It'll be an ecoboost, so may be different, but I will update and let you know if it has the same issues with shifting smoothly.
Was the thudding ever a problem in terms of durability or did you ever have any issues with your S197 tranny? I haven't received my car yet, but this kinda got me paranoid. :ninja:
I know this is off topic, but have you noticed any noises when shifting? I've heard a couple people complain about it and am wondering if it's a common issue or not.
Not sure if mine was re-released yet or not (I'll contact the dealer tomorrow to find out), but mine is still in awaiting shipment as well with no ETA and no countdown. :frusty:
Ah... gotcha. Ya, I just looked at pictures and noticed you can tell the difference if you look really closely. That's pretty cool. Does the EB PP have the same one as the GT PP then?
TBH, the only real reason to get an ecoboost over the GT is price. If you can comfortably afford the GT, definitely go for it. Unfortunately, the GT was too expensive for me so I went with the ecoboost, which will be more than enough power for me since I'm coming from an '04 hyundai tiburon GT...
I was told something similar by my area ford rep. He said that ford placed a hold on all mustangs (obviously isnt true since people are still receiving theirs) and the plan to have them all inspected and released by November 6th.
I've never ordered a car before, but are all new car launches...
