Oh yeah for sure. With the current state of things, I take everything with a grain of salt. Doesnt matter when I get it, but when I do, its going to be awesome.
Do you remember how long before your segmentation date you got a VIN?
So I requested a new screenshot of my order. My segmentation date is still 7 September. Estimated build month is still blank and I dont have a VIN yet. From memory the VIN gets issued around 4-6 weeks before segmentation so I'm hoping I dont have any issues since I dont have one yet.
The ETA on...
Yeah this came as a surprise to me. It looks like stuff started flowing again and many customers saw movement on their deliveries. Its a tough time to buy a new car.
Lol, your story is similar to mine. I initially said I wanted a manual, and the salesman asked me if I've driven an auto. At that point I had not so I took one for a spin and that just confused me. My heart wanted a manual but I found the auto so damn good. So smooth and comfortable and still...
Mine was Seaview Ford. Did you go manual or 10speed? Mines an 10 speed. Man that was a tough decision to come to. I test drove 4 cars before finally making up my mind. Sometimes I still have doubts about whether I made the right choice.
I'm also in Perth prestj1. As others have said, it does look like orders are freeing up and wait time are coming down. I'm sure you'll get your allocation soon.
I ordered mid January 2022 and waited nearly 6 months for an allocation so you are lucky. I have been told that my car is scheduled to be built in October also. Based on the projected build date, our cars might be travel buddies on the same ship. We'll see.
My dealer delivery estimate for mine...
Looks like it was just removed because it was being updated. The build tool for the Mustang is back now and its now got the MY22 info with new colors and prices etc.
Took Ford long enough. Pretty poor to only have the site updated in Jun when they will switch to making MY23's in November.
With what we know at the moment, I really prefer the S550. I love the retro vibe and the double brow dash design. From some of the spy pics we've seen of the S650, the dash doesnt seem to have a retro look. I'm ok with that, but I still prefer the retro feel of the current Mustang.
I ordered mid Jan 2022. Still awaiting allocation. I saw the dealer yesterday. He showed me they have 8 orders of which mine is the first in the queue. So the next allocation to the dealer will be mine. Tough this waiting game...
I ordered mid Jan 2022, and I'm still waiting for allocation. My dealer is still hopeful of a September/October delivery. I'll just wait and see since its all I can do.
Yeah, I have read many threads about it. Was just wondering what my fellow Aussies think about the subject, and how to deal with it on our heavily policed roads in case you do want to increase the revs a little. Of course you can do that on public roads without breaking the speed limit, but its...
Thanks! Yeah that is very annoying. They also still have the 2021 brochures and car builder on their site. You'd think it would be updated to the 22's by now but no.
Very true and the sand gets into everything. It has a special ability to saturate floor mats. Seems like no amount of vacuuming or beating can extract it all from the floor mats ever again.
