  1. How do you rate the QC of your pony?

I think that's part of the problem, there seems to be this "don't let the dealer PDI or wash the car" movement afoot for some reason. I had the dealer detail my car so that I could look at every inch of it for flaws. I also insisted that I take delivery inside, under fluorescents, which make...
  2. How do you rate the QC of your pony?

I'm with you on that, I spent 45 mins combing over my car before I even considered sitting down and singing the papers. Even then the only real flaw I found was the tiniest chip in the drivers door (looks like a ring caught the edge getting in/out) and that was documented to be fixed before I...
  3. Warranty question

It comes up when they scan the car, there is a number presented that corresponds to how many times the ECU has been flashed. They don't have to check for it exactly. This happens with every, single, tune. Don't be duped by tuners that claim to have zero footprint in your ECU because that's...
  4. Why is my local dealer hiding 2015s?

Our dealers here in Alberta were offering 25% plus in incentives on the 2014s I think. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. How do you rate the QC of your pony?

I'd tend to agree, I've owned VW's and Lexus's. This car isn't anywhere near as well put together as the Lexus was but it's also a drastically different scale price wise (20K cheaper) so my expectations weren't nearly as high. So far the quality has exceeded my expectations at this price...
  6. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

You won't want to turn back! After a few days you won't notice the heavier pedal anymore. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Key Blade Inside the FOB

I suppose that's true actually. Good thinking! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Sunglass holder broken

You must be kidding... Brand new car with warranty and roadside assistance why on earth would you carry all this stuff? Do you cross 100's of miles of barren wasteland too/from work everyday? I wouldn't take this much stuff to the race track let alone carry it around in the trunk on the...
  9. cotus down?

I found that I had to hit submit on COTUS 3-4 times in a row, each time getting "order does not exist" before it would pull up my information. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Stripped Down "Poverty Specs"

So I decided to test this on the way home. At 60 mph the revs are ~1900 At 75 (a typical cruising speed in traffic on the hwy I travel) the revs are right at 2250. Neither of these should be considered taxing on an engine with a factory fuel cutoff of 7000 rpm (which likely indicates closer...
  11. Stripped Down "Poverty Specs"

What makes 3.73 so "crazy" in a DD? I'd rather have the extra dig for when I do track the car and shift a little quicker in traffic than not have it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. How do you rate the QC of your pony?

I'm really happy with mine, a couple of really nit picky things but for the most part it's everything I had hoped. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Who needs a minivan!

One of my favourite parts about driving this car with my wife and son in it is the looks of pure hatred I get from Men driving minivans...lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Stripped Down "Poverty Specs"

I thought I would hate the backup camera but it's actually really handy to double check that I'm far enough in the garage without getting back out of the car. My garage is a bit tight thanks to cabinets and a workbench against the back wall. Just toss it in reverse and have a peek to see that...
  15. The gas mileage conundrum...

I'm just curious about what would motivate someone to put a lot of effort into making a relatively inefficient car efficient when there are other, less expensive, cars on the market that offer similar creature comforts with way more mileage "out of the box". I'm not against good mileage, like...
  16. Stripped Down "Poverty Specs"

Fair point, if I was a bigger frame I would find the seat uncomfortable for sure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. The gas mileage conundrum...

Hyper milling in a V8 mustang...now I've heard everything... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Stripped Down "Poverty Specs"

Granted the bolstering doesn't do much for you in stop and go traffic but you will appreciate it if you plan to do any autox or track day events. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Who needs a minivan!

I meant to take some pics last night of my wife and six year old in my Mustang. It wasn't even an issue with my wife, when I told her I wanted to order one her only comment was "well can you at least get a yellow one, Adam would really like the yellow". I love that women btw. Adam, my six...
  20. Drag strip

Interesting, here at our track in Alberta they won't let you through tech at street legals without a helmet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
