For anyone who disconnects the active exhaust valves on there 350 will soon discover that without the correct signal from the valve to the PCM the selectable drive modes will not be available. Your car will be stuck in normal mode. Fortunately the pros at AMERICAN RACING HEADERS save the day...
My previous car made 800. One dimensional compared to the 350. I occasionally miss having the ability to wow people and myself with 100mph burnouts. Otherwise I would never go back. 350 is a keeper.
The tune is just that, conservative. It is the initial re-flash. I will data-log with the NGAUGE device. They will modify the tune, I will re-flash until the car doesn't accept any more timing and A/F is adjusted.
OK, got some preliminary results from the same dyno after ARH full system and tune. Having issues uploading file so i'll just spit out the gains and post graphs latter. Remember the tune has only 21 degrees of spark advance, 93 octane in the tank, and an A/F ratio in the high 11:1 - low 12:1...
Yes, several people have commented on the "rattling" sound. If I leave my car running, elevate it on the lift, stand under the engine area, it seems to come from the area you describe. I strongly believe it is not an issue, just inherent to the design.
Not yet, I have the ARH cats, X pipe, resonators, and mufflers. It sounds and feels like a different car, I still cant wait to measure the changes. I'm guessing 40 - 50 hp and notable improvements in the area under the curve torquewise. You will need to talk to the folks at your exhaust vendor...
I couldn't wait to create this post. Just when I thought I could not like this car more, I took it outlast night for the first time after the exhaust and re-flash. Folks I have modded many, many vehicles of all types. The way the 350 responded to exhaust is stunning. I have never experienced...
I just finished install of ARH 17/8 long tubes with cats and full system front to back on my GT 350. Loading the lund tune next. My car baseline is 457 on a dynojet. It will be going back on the same dyno later this week to measure changes. I have a 2009 GT500 with KOOKS system. It is nice...
MY TURN>......I've had ALOT of mustangs. None of them turned or stopped worth a damn. My mustangs all made stupid power but they were one dimensional in that all they were good for was acceleration and tire smoke. I bought the 350 because I won't have to upgrade every aspect of the car to make...
Ok, here is what I've learned. The front badge is the previously mentioned part number from this thread. The grill and or maybe the front facia would need to come off to replace the grill emblem. (might hold off on that until the air/air heat exchanger goes in). The rear badge doesn't have an...
