  1. First Bad Review!!

Granted, the GT350 does tramline quite a bit, but such is the price you pay for wide wheels/tires, i.e. if the M4 could fit the same wheels/tires, it would run into the same issue. The spectrum of the race vs street car is about compromises and sounds like this guy pretty much desires a softer...
  2. ECU tunning does nothing for N/A engines? Dinan says so.

Funny as Dinan sold for years (and continues to sell) tunes for BMW N/A engines. Now the claims on a tune alone are very modest (~10 bhp on 400+ bhp N/A M3) which are probably more realistic compared to what other tuners are claiming. Will an N/A tune help reduce track times? Probably not!
  3. Mr. GOOSE CHOOSES THE R!

A lot of the outtakes with Turbowski (particularly the GT350R one) are actually pretty funny
  4. My 2017 Shelby Break-In And Update

The amount of oil in your JLT catch can sounds about like the rate mine catches oil (I also have JLT 3.0). Also, I ran the JLT on the driver's side and no oil ever got in even after track days, so I just put the stock hose back and only run passenger side.
  5. 2017 350R Lightning Blue 5K Over

No doubt the risk of getting picked off here is high.
  6. Tune your magnaride!!!!!

Really curious as to what lap time effect is with this controller and if there is a substantial change in ride quality in comfort mode (being more compliant). If less than 1 sec impact on a 2.5 mile course probably not worth it unless professionally racing. What are the Porsche/Vette/Ferrari...
  7. 2018 Orange Fury GT350R

Actually thinking the black stripes with RED border would really pop on the orange R.
  8. BMR Jacking rails vs Steeda jacking rails

The PSC2 tires are asymmetrical and therefore, are non-directional. All PSC2 tires are like this (including on my M3).
  9. Impressions From SEMA 2017

Looks like you can design your mats at the Lloyd mat store with the red GT350 snake logo. https://www.lloydmatsstore.com/featured-vehicles/shelby
  10. Impressions From SEMA 2017

Nice writeup; I guess at SEMA there was a new upgraded stroked (to 5.4) Voodoo FPC engine from MAST Motorsports and Cortex racing. Stroked, new crank & rods, pistons, dry sump, bigger TB, and SuperSnake Intake. HP numbers not yet released...
  11. Scraped Rims (non-R) - Need consoling and advice

Don't feel bad, have beautiful alloy rims on my M3 and scratches happen many of which I can't even pinpoint. Just noticed about a 3/4" one on my R rims and have no idea how it happened. If you street and track drive these cars, sooner or later the rims will get scrapes on them. Like others...
  12. BMR Jacking rails vs Steeda jacking rails

Yeah, can see the advantage of the rails. Makes it easier to do two wheel rotation/swaps simultaneously (L to R) and ability to use stands gives a safety margin when swapping break pads at the track. The thought of bearing such a heavy car only on a race jack while working on brakes makes me...
  13. BMR Jacking rails vs Steeda jacking rails

Would a rail be better for jack stands than the jack points? Would seem like there would be more flexibility with the rail and would distribute the load better.
  14. Any leads on magnetic R with white OTT stripes?

Aftermarket stripes from Bigworm are much higher quality. The red lines on the factory stripes are printed on/fuzzy. Quality aftermarket stripes pop out a lot more.
  15. Where to order stock pads? My dealer is backordered

Get the Ferodo DS2500 pads (GT350Brakes.com). It's a very similar compound to the stock pads (also made by Ferodo) and perform great on the track.
  16. How does Ford manage to get the oil temp up so quickly?

It takes my car about 15-20 minutes of driving before gets up to 190-200, which is exactly the same time it takes my E90 M3 to warm up (which also has high revving 8600 rpm engine). Of course if revved higher early on, will heat up faster, but I wouldn't be doing that with this engine (keep...
  17. First Video Of The R

Nice due diligence on eliminating possible flood damage. Great passionate video!
  18. So I think I will need to replace the motor | Currently at the Dealer

Agree, I am curious as to what happens with replaced engines. Sounds like on new replaced engines the block may not match the VIN.
  19. Suspension setting: Normal vs. Sport

Normal mode with exhaust on loud but steering in comfort, which I feel helps numb out the tram lining a bit on freeways especially. On certain tracks I may even try normal for suspension settings.
  20. So I think I will need to replace the motor | Currently at the Dealer

So some have been saying that if a GT350/R's engine has been replaced, its value will be diminished due to the chassis number and engine serial #s not matching...is this completely false as there is no engine identification number distinct from other 5.2FPC engines?
