My Degas bottle temps correlate with my piping that goes in/out of the back of the Roush unit. My experience has been;
low to no boost - the piping and Degas are 60-80 digress (close to ambient)
beating on it, the piping and the fluid in the Degas bottle are well over 110 degrees.
I believe that you are running 120 IAT2's while driving easy. Now do me a favor, next time you do that, and you havnt been into boost, lift your hood and twist off Roush Degas cap and either use an infrared temp gun or stick your finger in it. Im better that it feels cool to the touch which...
I believe that Roush doesnt use the IAT2 harness that the other providers/tuners require so I think that youre ok. If your IAT2's are showing 40 over ambient, its probably fairly accurate. Im not sure what part of the country you are in but you will get over 40 degree delta if youre in a cool...
possibly a little off topic (but not really) Ive done a fair amount of research and tinkering with my inter cooling system (2018 Roush ph1 upgraded to ph2- heat exchanger & calibration) and Im convinced that the delta between IAT1 & IAT2 will ALLWAYS be more in cooler weather because I think...
Mine does the same thing, Slightly opening the throttle body makes it cool down quicker and closing it can even make it creep up a little.
I could be worrying about nothing at all.
Have you ever checked your degassed bottle after driving? does it get real warm?
oh boy - where to turn to now. I NEED some help from my fellow Roush 2018+ guys.
They downloaded the phase 2 cal, and after I brought a couple of issue up, they decided to wait to make the dyno run.
What issue? Yes, you guessed it HEAT.
I really need help from any of you guys with the 2650...
I’m at the dealership right now getting phase 2 cal installed. I installed the ph2 heat exchanger a few days ago. I’m also having a Dyno run which I plan on dat lagging with Hptuner.
I like what youre saying Mike. I am having my 2018 phase 1 car flashed to phase 2 on Tuesday. Roush already sent the new heat exchanger to me and Ive already installed it.
How could I go about getting that predator MCT BK correction curve to paste into my phase 2 tune? I have HP tuners with...
I’m in the
I felt like I was reading a post that I didnt remember writing.
I recently purchased a used 2018GT with dealer installed Roush 2650 phase 1. My IAT2 were 50 above and I spoke with Gavin. He said that 40 above is ok, but 50 made him Leary lol.
I just received the free phase 2...
Have any of you upgraded your Roush heat exchanger with the VMP triple core unit with or without fans? I’m curious to how VMP unit will bolt up to the car. Does it need any brackets or hardware that’s not included when buying the unit from vmp?
Thanks
I’m going to pay for a tune but thought I’d do some logging 1st to see how things look. I’m pretty familiar with Hptuner and nguage but most of my experience is with LS platform.
Thanks for the help and ideas.
I’m going to do some research on the killer chiller as well.
thanks again for NOT calling me all night lol.
I was actually fishing for some ideas via text.
thanks again!
Great thread guys - Ive been trying to consume it all in the past week but its a LOT!
I just purchased a 2018 GT premium A10, with a dealer installed Roush 2650 phase 1. It was installed 5/2018 so it has the 1st gen LTR (heat exchanger). Its bone stock other than the Roush setup (also has a...
