An old hot rodder buddy of mine had these screens made up for the grilles on my Mustang. They keep out 99 percent of the crap. They just clip on and are easily removed. He used similar setups when he used to drive his hotrods to shows.

Good info! I've never seen a side by side view of the PP1 and PP2.... I think there's a YT video of some guy who put PP2 wheels and tires on a "regular" Mustang GT. Makes the stock suspension Mustang GT look like it has a 4" lift kit on it.

I agree, Norm. I suspect that Ford didn't want to piss off the GT350 owners by putting out a "lesser" Mustang that could keep up with the Shelby for an entire track day.

If Ford was targeting the PP2 for some random dude who enjoys driving twisty roads, then they nailed the target with me. Fun car.

Regarding whether a PP2 is "fully loaded", there are some threads on here with order guides from Ford showing what other options are available with the PP2 package. You had to order either 301A or 401A package along with PP2 option. I believe either of these options gave you the electronics...

To answer the second question in your post....all PP2 cars came with magneride. It was included as part of the PP2 option. All PP2 Mustangs sit about an inch lower than non-PP2 Mustangs IIRC.

Agreed.... Around Central Oregon the brine solution (magnesium chloride) is used generously. It is some nasty shit for car finishes... I don't mind keeping my pony in the stable for 5-6 months to protect it....

Haven't thought about selling mine once since I bought it. I have too much fun with it during the 6 months I get to enjoy it every year. I sure do miss driving it during the Central Oregon winters, though.

Would be cool to see all those coming down the road together in a pack....
