  1. Official 1/4 Mile Fast List & Leaderboards (I4 Ecoboost) - 2015+ Mustangs

Yes, thanks, I see. -100FT DA at Atco though (not Rock Falls, haha), with a good IC. Eh, we'll see. Thanks Adam.
  2. Official 1/4 Mile Fast List & Leaderboards (I4 Ecoboost) - 2015+ Mustangs

Any tune-only manual-trans EB cars on drag radials? I'll be going to the track for the first time with my car next Saturday. I'm running an E30 Lund tune (conservative boost level of about 21-22lbs as I'm still on stock IC and air charge temps get out of hand), everything else stock for now. The...
  3. Those using E30 fuel...

Thank you, I saved the link on my phone so I can always have it handy!
  4. Those using E30 fuel...

Yes, thank you, I'm aware of the E70-E85 range depending on season in my area. I've had probably 6 different E85 combos in various cars in the last decade or so. Yes, the ethanol mixture can vary, and yes it does cause slight variances in air/fuel ratio on open-loop systems, but ethanol fuels...
  5. Those using E30 fuel...

I don't think a stock tune will run properly on anything more than E15. Just try to run the highest octane premium fuel you can find.
  6. Those using E30 fuel...

Some spark advance data I acquired from my logs yesterday on E30 fuel, to compare to other logs on 93 from previous days. Note, ambient temp yesterday (around 68*)was around 25 degrees warmer than previous days. Here's three screenshots comparing spark advance (column D) during a full 4th gear...
  7. Those using E30 fuel...

Yeah I'll probably blend it myself typically. There's a station that sells E30 that is sort-of on my way home from work, but it's probably better to just do it myself and not trust the 'E30' blend pump from the station. Thanks
  8. Those using E30 fuel...

Are you blending it by yourself (with say 25% E85 and 75% 91/93 premium pump fuel) or are you buying it at a station that sells it from the pump? I suspect that the 'pump' E30 is blended with 87 fuel so it's effective octane level / knock resistance is lower than what you'd get if you blended it...
  9. Brave enough to try a eBay intercooler.

Nice. I figured there had to be a cheaper way than the little $500+ replacement intercoolers available now. I'd like to see more pics if you get time!
  10. Datalogging - 'Knock' vs 'SPKAD_IND' ?

No problem. Thank you! It felt pretty sluggish during the pulls I did for logging, but Octane Correction or whatever was still at zero so timing was pretty soft. I'm sure it will like more timing/boost on E30.
  11. Datalogging - 'Knock' vs 'SPKAD_IND' ?

Lund sent me an E30 file to try out. They want to be careful with it so I logged a couple 2500-5000 pulls with it and sent them the files for their perusal.
  12. Datalogging - 'Knock' vs 'SPKAD_IND' ?

Here are the PIDS in the file he sent for logging...
  13. Datalogging - 'Knock' vs 'SPKAD_IND' ?

Thanks, I'll look again but IIRC the only PID named anything resembling 'knock' was the one I described, simply called 'Knock', which has never been anything but zero, so I don't really believe it. The SPKAD_IND PIDs act just like the old 'knock' PID from my Coyote datalogging. Anyway, thanks.
  14. Datalogging - 'Knock' vs 'SPKAD_IND' ?

I've been looking at datalogs on my EBM. Logging with Lund nGauge. I noticed that the 'Knock' value never triggers above zero on the datalogs (literally never), but the 'SPKAD_IND (1 through 4)' is typically 0 but during a WOT pull when the boost comes on it starts at 1-2 (presumably taking a...
  15. Show Me Your Drag Setups

Racestar 17x9.5 rear with 295/45 M/Ts and 17x7 fronts with 215/60-17s. SR Performance springs (installed the day before). This is a very nice-driving setup, easily daily-driveable if you want to. I'll just be using them for driving to, racing at, and driving home from the track. The tracks I...
  16. Voltage fluctuates quite a bit. Is this normal?

Funny, I noticed what I thought was lowish voltage yesterday on my way home from a long drive. Voltage was showing 'only' 12.9, very consistently. I figured, oh great, alternator is failing, but then I figured the car is smart enough to tell me now if that voltage is too low, and figured it must...
  17. Post Pix of your S550 with aftermarket wheels and tires

Thanks! Sorry, forgot to mention. SR Performance springs (the American Muscle house brand ones)
  18. My stock-tune (93 octane) vs Lund tune (93 octane) dyno graphs

Post #3 just has a pic of the car. Post #2 just has a scan of the piece of paper with the weather data/SAE correction stuff.
