I have one of those on order lol. Only downside from what I understand is that it may just chop your head off if your airbag deploys. So... I'm risking it!
Good idea. I felt like I wasn't quite loud enough with the baffles and at times I feel like I'm a little overboard w/o them. I considered drilling out the existing plates a little at a time to reach a happy medium, but then I said... screw it. If I want to modulate, I just use my right foot...
If they are in, you can see them plainly when looking into your exhaust tips. You will see a solid piece closing the inner exhaust tube completely off. When you remove them (see below, piece of cake) yes, you will get better flow, but it's all about the magical sound man!!
My wife gripes about the ride quality too much for any real distance trips unfortunately. I'm really trying to sway her for a Tennessee trip and that's only 4 hours away...
I love Sport mode, but I wish it could skip gears especially on downshifts slowing down from speed. I like that it holds the RPM's longer on upshifts, but slowing down to make a turn is annoying. I usually end up going to paddles to control it.
I've got coil overs with a slight drop and no magnaride. I just started getting a "noise" in my front right corner. I only really hear it when I go over a speed bump which I take at really low speeds anyway, but that's when it's really noticeable. Almost a creaky sound. Nothing really feels...
If I go anything bright, it will be Grabber Blue. But I really love Roush and those GB's (used as I only have that kind of cash) are unicorns. I was super lucky to get what I got for the money, so not complaining. Maybe someday.
If you are serious and have that kind of cash, tell them that you'll come in and do the paperwork today at 67K. If they are calling you, they want to move the car. On that type of number, they have the room to do it. Your leverage is how long it's been sitting there and we're in August of...
Ok, I'll see if anyone else chimes in on this one. Seems like ramps would give me more room to operate underneath. I'm doing as you do now except was putting jack stands at the pinch weld corners. I could probably put one ramp under at a time, but would prefer to do it in one shot if I can...
I'm probably going to invest in some Steeda rails for when I do my tire changes. That way I can do one lift in the middle of the car bringing up the whole side. I like to take most of the weight off the tire, but have just enough traction left to loosen the lug nuts, then lift it off the...
A simple yes would have been fine instead of saying I had it backwards, then that it wrong to do, while loving the guys setup who had jack stands on pinch welds. Now saying it's obvious you can jack stand on the pinch welds. I don't think my question was a cause for so much huff puff and...
You don't need to sigh. Just be consistent. You are telling me that I should lift via welds, but not put on stands at the pinch welds. Then say how cool Glenn's setup is when he has his car on jacks at the pinch welds. Is it "cool" and something you are looking to do, or is it not advisable...
Interesting then that you made the following comment on the poster (Glenn) showing his car on jacks at the pinch weld locations. Unless he has jacking rails and they are on those. The slotted jack stand adapters are obviously made for pinch welds though. Not trying to be argumentative, its...
