  1. I Ran Into (and SAT in) a 2015 Guard EcoBoost Fastback today

Finally got to see how the engine lined up to the front wheel center line. Since the V8 has about the same length as the 4cyl, I guess it will be similar to the V8.
  2. Rumor: Steeda Blog - 2015 Mustang Weight Gain (Updated with Steeda's Response)

Who are these mysterious posters with only a few posts that are keep popping up out of nowhere acting as if they have the inside information?
  3. S550 Chassis School

From what I've heard, the Mustang has the same too.
  4. Rumor: Steeda Blog - 2015 Mustang Weight Gain (Updated with Steeda's Response)

It's possible that Steeda may have indeed had the car in its possession for a day or so and maybe they did indeed weighted the car, but Ford probably intentionally made the car extra heavy so Steeda could not get an accurate weight measurement.
  5. Rumor: Steeda Blog - 2015 Mustang Weight Gain (Updated with Steeda's Response)

Lol's. By now most people here are praying for the 2015 Mustang just not to gain any weight :-), and forget about any weight loss let alone 100lbs. Looks like Ford and Steeda got together and played a little game on us.
  6. Rumor: Steeda Blog - 2015 Mustang Weight Gain (Updated with Steeda's Response)

That's the problem with having a live axle around for too long. Their design engineers got lazy. As for the double joint front strut suspension on the new Mustang, well it's been their for ages on GM RWD flatform so it's not like the double joint is a new invention. But I am giving Ford the...
  7. Sign the petition: Ford PLEASE show us the weight/power numbers.

I think there is a fine line between protecting a company product confidential information vs. respecting the wishes of its loyal fan base. I can understanding why Ford would want to withhold the information earlier this year and we all respected Ford intention, but with the order bank already...
  8. Rumor: Steeda Blog - 2015 Mustang Weight Gain (Updated with Steeda's Response)

It think this is why Ford needs to get ahead of all these "rumors". Sooner or later people will know. I don't know two or three months will make any difference. But as for Steeda leak, are they saying 300 - 400lbs absolute? Or is it relative to something else? Maybe this leak was someone...
  9. WardsAuto: Ecoboost Ride Along

I agree. I understand there is a need to keep things confidential but this is getting ridiculous. There is a point where it might get comical for Ford. I don't think GM or Dodge is holding up their designs because of this. If anything, they probably already got the info from insiders leaks.
  10. Is this solid info on the new GT350? Very interesting information

Do you think the GT350 can beat the regular C7? With all the talks about beating this and that, nobody bothers to ask how difficult it is or how much money it would take?
  11. Is this solid info on the new GT350? Very interesting information

If the Gt350 price point will be around 52k, then I don't think the argument should be about beating the Z28 which won't be easy, but more about the overall driving experience. Will the gt350 be as fast as the C7 which will have the same base price if a bit higher? With all GM talents that is...
  12. 2015 Mustang (s550) Specs and Technical Info Guide (GT V8, V6, EcoBoost)

Most reviews of the latest M3/M4 have been somewhat mixed. Reviewers do admit that the cars are fast and capable, but none really fell in love with it.
  13. Opinions in person

The downside is more tire wear on the inside part of the tire, but then there is no free performance.
  14. 2015 S550 headlamps

Don't worry about headlights. It should be a very good car. I can't recall anyone ever purchased a car because of the headlights.
  15. 2015 california special

I've heard the California special will probably have a firmer ride.
  16. HiPo Mustang (S550) Prototype Spied -With Different Exhaust Setup and Sound

The vid was taken at different distant so the low end freq. sound level may be different.
  17. Rear diff options

There will be after market diff. Will cost a bit more but not big deal.
  18. Performance Pack ride quality?

It will depend on a few things - how solid and stiff and strong the chassis will be, how well the subframe is designed, the amount of unsprung mass is also important (the lower the better), what types of bushing will be used, and of course how stiff the springs/shocks will be.
  19. Automobile Mag ride along

You can potentially get more power out of the 4 with a few simple mods.
