You seem to know a lot for someone who has nothing to do with Ford. :p
But anyway, you can't really have it both way. I did suggested that those spy pics may have fake noses attached to them but I am not quite sure.
If:
1. They have fake noses, which you suggested, then the overhang should...
If the front opening on this pic is true, then it does look that the opening is somewhat narrow vs. Chaz's drawing. You can see that that the width is not quite as wide as some of the renders here. The narrower opening will give the Mustang a more focus, aggressive front end vs. Chaz's drawing.
And in order to lose weight, the Mustang has to lose size specifically the rear and front overhang. All the renders so far had the Mustang about the same size as the current one. It's really difficult for my eyes looking at the front overhang.
Personally I got nothing against overhang, but if Ford wants to improve handling, then they have to get better f/r weight distribution. Some of the previous GT500 had almost 60/40 which is like FWD territory. Just visually looking at the last orange render, most of the engine will probably sit...
I do have trouble thinking the front overhang will be that pronounce as on the last render. The new Mustang will HAVE to be smaller for the world market.
I agree with some of the previous post here is that Chaz's render looks more professionally done, but the C&D has a little tighter front end. The wheel size, wheel gap, and the body look a little bit more proportional on the C&D's render. Chaz's looks like the wheels slightly larger than they...
Looks like there are a lot of die hard fans of the live-axle. :-)
But seriously one main problem of the Camaro is probably its size is a little too big for even a muscle car. Hopefully the next gen Camaro will be a little better proportion, and having more grown up style wouldn't hurt either...
If there is one thing I prefer the C&D over Chaz's is the C&D has a little tighter front overhang. Out of all renders so far, I like the front of this one the most. It's basically similar to Chaz's render but everything is just a bit tighter, more focused.
If you look head on, the above...
You're right. I might be contradicting because the current Mustang front probably can't be characterized as "chiseled" or "sharpened". I guess I was only trying to express my preference. Since Ford is starting with a new design, they might as well try something a bit more daring and new. I...
Chazcron,
Your works are very much appreciated. We could see how the new Mustang is shaping up almost in real time. I guess the constraint here is the Evos/Ford new corporate look. That can't be changed, but in design a few details here and there can make a significant difference. The lower...
Overall the render looks good though I am still a bit bothered by the front end. It's still a bit tame, a bit too much like a Fusion. I think the lower half of the front fascia is OK, but the top half could look a bit more distinctive. A proper Mustang front should have a more chisel and...
Just when a spy shot of the convertible showed up, Chazcron somehow just magically whipped out a convertible picture of his own. I mean the coincidence is just uncanny. :-)
