I called Corsa today, they said a way you can tell if your valve will rattle is to take the exhaust tip and shake it, if it rattles it's a bad one. The process is very easy to replace. I shook mine and it's fine. They will swap them out right away.
Oh not all, did not feel you came across as flippant. I totally forgot to call them. hopefully tomorrow I will. Have not installed yet. I don't see how people can hear a rattle over the roar of the engine. I have kooks long tube headers with hi cats and car is loud. anyhow.....
Thanks, but if it rattles it ain't worth a damn. I jumped on here to find out how people are enjoying their Corsa and I find out it has issues. This has ruined my weekend. I doubt if American Muscle will refund my money, only store credit. This sucks
What is the "Ford performance power pack tune" ? What's your whp now? I've heard that going with E85 on a pretty much all stock car will get you about 20 puls hp. The massive gains are when you combine E85 with a supercharger, return fuel system (have to add that) bigger injectors......then...
I'm thinking about upgrading to the P1-X from the P-1SC1. I'm at 703 at the tire with 11.5lbs. Fore return fuel system, 1000cc DW injectors, 93 octane tune and E85 tune. No oil pump and gears (that's why I figured I just stop while I'm ahead). Want to replace stock clutch and driveshaft next...
Wow!!!!! lol!! Came in a tad HOT but he is right. know your mod and it's limitations. Switch to 93 octane for the winter if you are in a cold environment, but he did not need to come across like that. He must hate his customers! It will end up biting him in the ass, word of mouth can make you...
Agreed. The shop that installed my Pro Charger did an excellent job (as they should have seeing how they are an authorized dealer), but when we started playing around with LT headers and increasing the boost, and flex tune stuff, the tuner they use (that comes in part time and does all customer...
Ours in Maryland read "Flex" too at the pump (Royal Farms), but the ethanol content is usually 77-79. I have the "Fuel-it" sensor that reads the ethanol content.
Mine is not flex, it's straight E85 or 93 octane. I can't run flex because I'm boosted. With it being I had to go with a return fuel system and bigger injectors (if you gonna do it do it right). Car is an absolute monster. E85 on a stock S550 with tune is ok, you pick up some HP, but on a...
well said. I have two tunes so I don't have to deal with the winter headaches of long starts and everything else. My BULLITT is a "sometimes weekend car".
