As from 2019 my son started an Instagram page of the car. Surprised on the number of followers he already has (1250 !). Amazing how people love Mustangs....

It seems like as from MY 2016 the plug to connect the gauges is present but hidden behind the sync module. It should thus indeed be PnP. Depending on what gauge set (GT/GT350/EB) you choose it should pick up the right data from the Canbus. The EB version on a GT however requires (I think) a...
It seems the mystery is resolved if I look at the 2 videos posted on youtube.
After the full install video were the initial idea was to change the 1 pin/cable switch to a 3pin/wired sensor the author give it a try with just a tune on the switch and it seems to work !!
Install video...
Does the tune work on an Ecoboost with a 1 pin switch (mine from 2015) or does the tune require a 3 pin sensor ?
I mean can the setting only be changed from switch to transducer if there is a real sensor or does it work with the switch as well?
(I have a perf tune which can probably been...
Anyone ?
Suppose I install the sensor and replace the switch, where should the 2 new extra cables (compared to 1 on a switch) be connected ?
piggy tail on the HS1-Can ?
Suppose I install the sensor and replace the switch, where should you if you had to do it on US car connect the 2 new cables ? piggy tail on the HS1-Can ?
Does anyone have details on the difference in wiring between the oil pressure switch (1 wire) and oil pressure sensor (3 wires). Where are wire 2 and 3 from the sensor going to?
I got a set of PP gauges and want to make the pressure one work on my EURO ecoboost (std with perf pack/no gauges) ...
Good luck !! You have a 2017 should be plug n play as connector for the gauge is present.
I have a set for a EURO 2015 Ecoboost (factory with PP pack but without gauges) on it's way and still trying to figure out how to get the oil pressure working.
Guys I took an option on Stefano's gauge set but really would like to have both gauges up and runing (incl oil pressure) even as Stefano said it looks great in any case, working or not..
It seems the Export cars even being Perf Pack ready don't have the oil pressure sensor; just oil temp...
Any one still on topic? I finally finished reading al 23 pages !!!! :muscle:
Facts :
- I have an Ecoboost export model with a custom tune (made in Belgium). All the export models seems to be PP equiped apart of an oil pressure sensor and the gauges.
- Have the opportunity to buy dash panels...
It seems this is Ecoboost US only and Export version has no oil pressure sensor... :frown:
Can you see the oil pressure in the regular dash menu on your car or just oil temperature. On EU/Export model only temp...
Is adding a sensor easy ? and Q would be what's the calibration of the gauge ?
It's a long thread and have a simple Q.
Can we make both gauges work on an Euro Ecoboost (OIl pressure and boost) It seems at start only one will work (boost) and wondering if there is an easy solution to get oil pressure working as well.
Guys, you really still using this crap? I did the Sync 2 to sync 3 upgrade without nav and use Waze. Google maps are also a possibility and you can add coyote radar tracking as well if you go for the jailbreak Carplay version.
As I'm always looking for new mods I'm investigating the PP gauge installation possibilities in an EU EB 2015 car. Is it correct to say the connector is not present and you need to follow the US instructions:

or did somebody find easier ways...
