But what kind of vehicle other than a track car? The 5.2 FPC is a high RPM, high HP, lower torque motor. That is GT350 territory for IMSA, PWC racing, and enthusiast's exclusivity.

I don't think anyone is saying that the 5.2 FPC (which is the exclusive motor) is likely to be used in anything other than the GT350. There was talk of a 5.2 CPC for the Mach1 and GT500.

Don't forget that these are USA only sales numbers. Canada still bought Mustangs at a rate of 2:1 over the Camaro, and Ford still has a large backlog of orders overseas, many of which are in countries who are now in early spring.

The GT350 is not the ZL1's competitor. That is the GT500's role and maybe a Mach1 for the 1LE. The GT350's competitor in GT4 racing will be the Z28 if it shows up.

Nice! That puts Mustang ahead in US + Canada = 6952 vs. 6835 Camaros, and then there is that small matter of Mustang record sales overseas.

Some of these bozos are probably looking in their mirrors for smoke or for crowd reaction and don't notice what's going on out front until it's too late and then they overreact.

I'm glad to see that Ford did not win September despite all of the Camaro incentives. Losing a few months to Camaro now may encourage some more preferable decisions regarding the 2018 Mustang prices and options.
