Another options would be to buy the smaller intercooler or maybe even keep the stock one and put a mister on it or some even spray a small shot of nitrous over the surface. Granted, you have to refill the bottle or the reservoir, but it does cool it down, especially if drag racing the car...
If you can afford it, get the one that is set up for the person that goes Crazy!
Speaking from experience, once you start modding it, you'll probably end up buying that one anyway. You'll save money in the long run because you won't have to buy an intercooler twice.
I agree that it's priced pretty high, but then again, you don't have to buy it.
There has been some good advice given as far as going to a muffler shop that you trust and let them make it for you. That's what I'd do.
In their defense though, R&D costs money. Someone has to pay for the new...
You just changed the color of the light, but 4300k has the highest lumen output of all of the HID's.
You could always try to fit a projector in place of the fog and put some HID's in there too. That would light things up quite a bit more. A 4300k HID aftermarket fog (35w) puts out 3500 lumens...
The kelvin temp is probably in the 4300k-5000k range. That's what most OEM's use because it has the highest lumen output.
Just a guess though and have no specs to back it up.
It only confirms your price point if they can sell them for that. :D
Theirs is just stainless mesh that you can buy yourself and make it. Yours is more OEM looking and looks better. That's just my opinion though.
Can you Guys also post up up which transmission that your car has?
A manual car will be less likely to have drone than an automatic will.
Just want to get as many facts as possible.
You do Nice work!
If you don't mind me asking, what is the general price range of something like that from you? You're welcome to pm me it if you don't want to post it up.
Audi was a key contributor for that interior design. I saw it in an S6 and RS7 and it looks Great!. I think that the Kia Optima has it too.
The car kind of reminds of a modded up Hyundai Genesis Coupe a little.
It is pretty nice looking, but I agree that I like the Mustang better.
You're right, that paint is like glass and has Zero orange peel in it. Beautiful job!
By the way, what's more than reasonable, as far as pricing?
Sorry for the hijack!
You just answered your own question. :D
GTR is a Cool car and are quite Mythical creatures around here. My wife and I were driving in our car and saw an AMS GTR pull out of a subdivision and I almost crashed watching that car!
Granted, by the time the mods were done on it, it was probably a...
That is one Pretty motor!
Some would depend on the size of the turbos. Wrap them up to keep the heat in (a hot turbo is a happy turbo), give them some ball bearings (faster spool up) and they'll be fine.
I actually think that's a nice design that would work well because it would help to...
Those fit Perfectly! That's going to be one heck of a Whip when you're done (It's nice now, but will be Absolutely SICK when you're finished)!
Nice looking welds on the water tank too!
