  1. Dashcams

Not just Woodville Rd, the whole area from Merrylands on south. Not sure exactly how far as I don't go south of Villawood, where I work, often. Frankly it's insane and the whole reason I adopted a dashcam.
  2. 2018 order date

No, it hasn't, Some haven't even loaded yet. The last MY17s won't arrive until late Feb I believe. Numbers are significantly down of course but they're still coming.
  3. 2018 Australia

They're already at a trickle. We'll see how close I am. Fully optioned on road, $75k. I'll be surprised if it's under $70k.
  4. 2018 Australia

If we're all having a guess, I'm going to say around $75k list price for GT fastback manual.
  5. Cold air intakes

They do, including the quoted one. Of course there's nothing stopping you from not cleaning and reoiling it and treating it as a disposable filter.
  6. GT spare wheel kit from ford dealers

Maybe the same one Pony Parts was putting together? I really need to remember to ask them about it.
  7. What did you do to your Aussie S550 today..

I've said it in the detailing thread a couple of times. I'm a fan of Bowdens but their snow foam isn't one of their better products. I getter thicker longer lasting foam that also cleans better using Meguiars soft wash gel.
  8. Ford Performance Springs - Accesories at your Ford Dealer

Don't they also have a performance shop? I've used the exhaust shop a few times and would recommend them so would be willing to try them out for other things as well. Couldn't hurt to ask.
  9. Cold air intakes

The problem with a lot of pod style filters is they're sitting in the open engine bay and therefore drawing the hot air that's in the engine bay so they can be worse than the OEM set up which is always boxed and the actual intake is usually near the front where the air is cooler. If you get...
  10. Ford Performance Springs - Accesories at your Ford Dealer

I have the Ford Performance track pack suspension waiting to go in. It includes these springs. Form my reading they're a bit firmer than stock. My experience and opinion is that ALL lowering springs will be stiffer than stock. If you don't want a harsher ride in my opinion and experience your...
  11. Dashcams

Slightly offtopic but with the weather warming up I'm looking to start using a sunshade as I'm in an open air carpark without cover. With my old Blackview it wasn't much of an issue as it was just press a button and slide the camera out of the bracket but with the Thinkware, even though the unit...
  12. Dashcams

It's not just me, it's really getting worse each month isn't it?
  13. Washing/Waxing/Detailing

I always do my wheels first but then I not only have different mit etc but whole different bucket. My reasoning is wheel cleaners are typically harsher than the soap used on the paint. Doing the wheels last could leave some residue splashed over while hosing off etc on the paint. Only a small...
  14. Streetfighter Engine Oil Cooler Upgrade

Just curious, why is one of the radiator hoses replaced for an oil cooler kit? Is the OEM cooler water cooled and comes off this hose?
  15. Washing/Waxing/Detailing

I just use a wheel nut brush. Nothing to wear out and a quality one will likely out last me.
  16. Washing/Waxing/Detailing

Oh I might have to try those. I have a couple that are supposedly genuine (bought from an Aust detailing specialist) and the synthetic wool is much more nylon like and cheap feeling than I expected.
  17. Washing/Waxing/Detailing

Didn't that come with it? Several of the reviews I watched all showed it as standard but then none of them were from Aust so I guess it's a case of us getting screwed again.
  18. Washing/Waxing/Detailing

I was very tempted. Spent at least 30min last night looking at reviews. I really like the fact it's cordless and the attachments. I really don't like the 20min run time as I generally do more than 1 car at a time so that could be cutting it close. In the end I think I'll stick with my Miele...
  19. Washing/Waxing/Detailing

Is it any good? My experience with Dyson products is that they're over hyped. Yes they work but generally no better than (usually far) cheaper alternatives.
  20. Aussie Mustang - Oil change warning

You can get it in 20l drums but retail store like Supercheap and Repco won't have it on the shelf though Repco I believe will at least order it. What's the volume required for an oil change?
