Lund isn't perfect. I've had issues with them when I got a new tune for my GT350 manifold. It was cutting power when I was shifting, like clutch protection did on the car when it was stock. We logged the crap out of it, and they decided it was my car, or it was the way I was driving it. I...
Bought mine to daily, 60 miles a day, figured I'd just get another one in a few years. Bought a $1500 beater for the rough weather days, and the mustang hasn't been back to work. Think I'll just keep it in the garage and drive it on the nice days. Mine is at 22,000 miles, and I'm guessing...
Headers and Corsa Extreme really helps with road rage, seems everybody is a little scared of you. I've gotten rid of quite a few tailgaters by shifting to neutral and giving a nice 8,000 rpm rev.
Don't hate on the 18 wheelers too bad. A lot of us are underpowered and speed limited, it...
With my 2002 Z06, I had an excuse. Stability control would kick in for no reason at all, going straight down the road at a 75 mph cruise, scare the crap out of you. I disabled it for "safety"!
I'd pull the 62 fuse, but with my advanced cruise control, I lose cruise control. Everytime I reach down and turn off advanced track, my wife knows I'm up to something, then I get judged. If it was always off, I could claim temporary insanity.
I park on a gravel pad at work, and we get some super windy days, that car cover mixed with sand and wind would make for a fair amount of damage to the paint. Plus, you'd still get hail damage, unless that cover is very padded, we get some big stuff at times.
beater
I finally bought another beater, after telling myself daily, "it's only a car, it can be fixed". Few days after buying my beater, everybody at work got hail damage, except me. I was at home sleeping, me and my beater, after working all night. Well, at least my beater didn't get...
Then you're not turning enough rpms, gt350 manifold should be required with this setup. The only compliments I get in life, my rock and roll t shirts, how pretty my wife is, and how good my car sounds. ;)
Not all public roadways are created equal. When you can see for miles, no cars, no houses, and no cops, there isn't any risk to anybody but yourself. Might as well go fast enough to kill you instantly, I go 150+
Adding boost might be cheaper than trading cars. I love my manual in my car. With headers, Corsa extreme, and gt350 manifold, it's a pure joy to shift at 7,800 rpm, it just keeps pulling. But, I am annoyed by the upshift rev match and how slow the rpms drop, even with a lund tune. It's way...
Neighbors stacked their hay bales near our property line, between their house and my shop. My border collie was killing a few rats a night. I had no idea a sweet, cute little dog like her could find so much joy in killing rats. She plays with them until she accidentally kills them, then she...
Don't get me wrong, it's not silent at cruise, it has a very nice mild tone that's very pleasant and relaxing. None of this ear vibrating drone that I'm use to from exhaust systems I've bought in the past.
Corsa extreme with catless long tube headers. Volume? I don't know, everybody says it's super loud on the outside. Drone, is less than my wife's stock car.
I'd love a keypad on my car, I use it all the time on my F150. I did leave the parking lights on once, drained the battery down all the way. But it was in my barn, parked next to my little tractor, within booster cable reach. I did have to go get my spare key to unlock the door. I need to...
When I used to own a 02 Z06, stock, I got called out by a kid in a 12 mustang 5.0. He did okay, he got me out of the hole every time and I'd pass him in third gear. He came back a few weeks later with a CAI and a BAMA tune, I swear his car was slower, by quite a bit.
Main reason I went with the gt350 manifold was the way the car felt, it fell on its face pretty badly after 6500 rpm. Now it revs out so free, it is a blast to run through the gears. I'm sure I'd gain a little more with CAI, but it is my daily, I don't really go racing, so I'm not looking for...
Corsa is something else. I'm catless headers corsa extreme guy, it's nice on the inside of the car, very loud on the outside. With all the road noise we have on our cheap chip seal roads, I can barely hear my exhaust cruising at 75 mph. I wouldn't want it any quieter inside the car.
