Yeah the brake dust is an absolute pain in the ass. Especially with the PP wheels, they're already almost impossible to clean. Wheels are literally maroon after 2 days of driving after a wash.
I've seen that Powerstop eliminates a lot of the brake dust. Have you used them?
How would you...
I'm sitting around 28,500-29,000 miles currently. 2017 GT Performance Pack with the Brembos. I have never changed the brake pads. I bought the car with 10,000 on it so I guess it's possible that they could've been changed before I bought it but I highly doubt it and I for sure have never changed...
I know some of the guys at Lund don't like forum questions, but props to you for finding a solution yourself by posting on here instead of bothering Lund with a question they've been asked too many times. Glad you got it resolved. This stuff can be confusing in the beginning, everyone was there...
You specifically said "his", which I took as referring to Mr. Jon Lund himself.
But, I don't see a problem with submitting an inquiry to them. Their response time is generally very fast and there's nothing that they can't answer on email that they would answer on the phone.
91-93 tune is the same tune. It'll cover both those octane ratings. Always fill up with the highest octane available to you though. I'm in California, so the maximum octane at a pump is 91 so that is what I use. If you have 93 at your pumps, fill up with 93.
A tune will void your warranty. It...
I would recommend Corsa! Won't break the bank like Kooks but are American made and are manufactured with 304 stainless steel. Fitment is amazing as well! I've got a Corsa catback paired to it, and while I think the full combo is the best, I do think ARH with Corsa catbacks sound amazing as well...
Why would he give out his personal number? I wouldn't either simply because of people having questions regarding things like filling a tank with e85 without a tune....
inb4 something breaks, just saying. There's a reason why Lund (and many other companies) offer an e85 tune, the Mustang is not...
Tuned by Lund for many months now. Wouldn't be tuned by anyone else. Lund doesn't mess around. They're professional, serious, and care about your CAR. No BS. Customer service is excellent as well.
IMO, don't cheap out on the headers. It's a part that's connected directly to the motor, plus if you go quality the first time you won't be needing to purchase headers again. One and done.
The ALCH_PCT will only be available on the flex tune because the E85R tune assumes that E85 is being put into the tank. If you're not seeing the ALCH_LRN flag, you can change your gauges on the ngauge to look for it.
If you are sure your station has E85 that is 75% or above, you're good to run...
All the required stuff for the Cobra Jet is in no way worth it to me, but I have to agree with you. Cobra Jet is king daddy if set up correctly, and all the fastest NA cars are using the Cobra Jet. Overall, I think a ported 18 takes the W just due to simplicity for a street car like OP...
Very happy with my Corsa headers. I would also check out ARH as they have a direct fit to Corsa catbacks. Either way you can't go wrong.
Go with PMAS, they're proven to be the best in a couple tests. People get it more as a supporting mod to future mods and it's just easier to do at the...
Selling my Corsa Sport Axleback with polished tips. $750 OBO, PM me about offers. Located in Orange County in Southern California, would rather not ship but that might be something we could work out.
