Except aren't the coolant reservoirs and the 12v battery under the frunk insert? Which means that you can't preform basic maintenance like checking fluid levels or changing a bad 12v battery without an upcharge. What it is is an encroachment on ownership and right-to-repair. And, bottom line...

Ford is no better really. They are sealing the frunk on the 26 model year of the MachE unless you pay extra for access. Yes, they are charging extra for access to a part of the car that you already paid for.

I thought the BCM is in the passenger kick panel on all S550s. From the size and location of the connector in the OP's picture I assumed he was asking about an ECM connector. Sorry, I'm not help on removing the cover.

The S550 Mustangs don't use physical flasher relays. Turn signal function is controlled by the BCM in the passenger kick panel. I'm sorry I don't know where the "relay" noise is generated or if it's possible to increase the volume.

If you have a Costco membership they sell Interstate batteries with a 3 year warranty for $119.99 for our cars. I put one in mine last fall and no issues.
