If the car goes into limp mode on the street, then it needs be to taken to the dealer for service. You should ALSO contact Ford Customer Service as a backup. If it goes into limp on track, it will be tougher to argue. YES, I know it is a track car.

It will be interesting to see if tech pack cars sit on lots long enough that Ford and/or dealers are willing to do the cooler upgrades on cars that don't sell.

Did you contact dealers asking them if they could order you a car (allocation)? OR did you contact dealers that had one on the lot?

Between the three Ford dealers closest to me, there are 8 GT350s and one R sitting on the lots. All were '16s, IIRC. At least one has been there since March. I don't have to go very far to drool.

Yeah, that's what I thought. So, I'd need to upgrade the head unit and get Sync 3. Not a whole lot of effort considering what it will take to get the coolers and other track pack features added to a Tech pack car. OR just buy a '17 model. :)

I get that it's new and there are few apps that use it. I won't be getting my car for 6-12 months and I listed to music and use the GPS/Maps/waze every day. I can run it from my phone but with a new car I expect to be able to have it all integrated.

I asked about a TRACK PACK 2016. Track Pack gets Sync (2), right? If I get a track pack, I would want to upgrade the system to run Android Auto with the larger display.
