I think the 2.3 will sound just like 2.0 in the focus given its just a spin off of that motor. Only big changes sound wise would be displacement and compression ratio which are both negligable.

Anyone have a diagram or a picture of the entire thing?
I know it will be one pipe(downpipe) with a cat in it that eventually leads into a catback like the other models, but im curious about whats going on in the middle.
Around 800$. Fairly easy to install. Gains will depend but id say it will be the best bang for buck out of the gate.
Its similar to nitrous in that your spraying a mist into your air/fuel mixture. water/meth is just a way to cool and make power and opposed to making more boom in your engine...
Water/Meth is a great alternative to e85 due to its availability.
The kits are pretty fault-proof and provide great gains on even a stock turbo setup. Also keeps the engine nice and clean. My buddy had water/meth on his 335i and made serious power.
Rotating aseembly is one thing, and Ford seems to have build a stout setup. But I am more concerend with the block integrity. Its aluminum, but is it an open deck? Closed deck? How are the sleeves? I cant wait to see someone open this thing up and truly examine it.
We dont even know what size turbo they are putting on this car stock. So we have no idea what it will be capable of with the stock turbo. For all we know they could be putting a similar size turbo as evo's as they make low 400awhp on the stock snail.
There is tons of room to go on the focus st...
Probably quite a bit. The Focus ST makes 250fwhp and 370fwtq after intake/IC/exhaust/tune.
I wouldnt be surprised that the ecoboost with bolt ons could make more torque to the wheels than a stock gt.
Id happily take that wager my friend! I am interested to see how this IRS stacks up to the old yet proven SRA. Also, the gearing is the same on the auto as It was previously, so the rear end gear choices should replicate the same performance. Its a matter of traction and wheel hop issues at this...
In daily use the 3.55's are nice because the pick up. It has been proven however that this car(11-14's) is fastest mod for mod with the auto and 3.15 gears. I also said recaros because that will shed some weight to make up for the added weight of the auto.
There's just as much doubt about things that could be factual. Speculation about speculation that has just as little merit.
But I wouldn't know anything about that...
for aftermarket intake manifolds.
Apparently there isn't enough room between the hood and engine for even the boss intake manifold.
Lets hope this isnt true....or some cowls will be introduced early.
Power wise?
3" Turboback
4" Intake
FMIC with 2.5" piping and Tial Q BOV

If it were me....
Then the usual cosmetics, wheel & tires and suspension.
