I've heard cars like that open headers. It's louder surrounding wise because the sound just goes everywhere. With an exhaust, it all goes out the back but if you're outside I would argue the exhaust on (with Corsa Xtremes) is louder in my experience.
I ran Corsa headers with the Corsa Xtreme, and I would genuinely be surprised if a straight pipe was louder. It was ear-shattering loud and the loudest car I have ever heard in my life. I love loud cars, but it was just too damn loud. If you live anywhere near people, I wouldn't recommend it...
What kind of foam is this? Where did you get it from?
Did you remove the hood foam or whatever that is that's on the bottom of the hood or did you keep it in?
I read it all. I wanted to try something else besides the Vellossa is all and was wondering if anyone had a pic of exactly what needed to be blocked off.
Yeah, It's when I'm on the throttle lightly. I'm well out of warranty due to mods and tuning though so I want to make sure it's that before I buy a new one.
Between around 1500-2500RPM, somewhere in there, usually around about 1800RPM or so, the car starts surging and bucking. It's not super violent, but definitely enough to be noticeable. Drove it about 40 miles with it doing that, and the next day drove under 10 miles and the same issue occured...
The brakes are great and I'm very happy with them. The squeaking is annoying though and is inconsistent. Sometimes squeaks, sometimes won't, and it doesn't depend on dirtiness from my experience. I've also got the performance pack wheels which I love, but are IMPOSSIBLE to keep clean because 1-2...
Hey man, I'm just exploring my options. I have 0 issues with the feel and power of the OEM Brembo pads, but if possible would like to reduce the squeakiness and brake dust.
I switched from Borla to Corsa. Had the Xtremes with stock headers on the car for a year, then installed longtubes. The thing was louder than imaginable if you've never heard it in person, but it sounded insane. I switched to Corsa Sports simply because the Xtremes with catless longtubes were...
This just means that if someone like a window switch broke, they can't deny you warranty for that because you have a tune, as that has nothing to do with the tune. If something happened with the engine, it would be nearly impossible to convince them that the tune didn't cause that. A lot of...
