No worries, I had to look carefully myself. Here's a photo that will help. These things turn and can be adjusted up and down. A couple of turns should do it, depending on their original position. You it snug, but not so much that that hood won't close.

Yup, same here. It seems those things were made to be adjustable, since they can be turned up and down. At first I turned them too much and the hood would not shut properly. I guess you want them just right, so experiment, but that ought to do it.
