Is there any documentation stating that the MY2019 6MT will have no lift technology? That's news to me...though it wouldn't be shocking, as they're already building in a lot of ECM / throttle / gear sensing tech with the auto rev matching.

FYI - Turbo lag is really a thing of the past. Modern turbos have a lot less mass than when turbo technology first became popular many years ago. Most people complaining about turbo lag these days are really experiencing transmission lag (ie - dual clutch fumbles).

I've done it, but only to people that I know, and people that I know will rev back. I can't imagine ever doing it to a stranger - even if they are driving the same car is me. A little wave while passing would do :)

Relationship issues aside - It's highly likely that you will only be truly satisfied if you end up back in a DIB. Since they're not currently in production, search the country for a low miles (possibly certified) DIB ceramic, buy a one way ticket, and drive it home :) Or wait a couple of years...
