  1. Final gut check - about to buy a GT350

I don’t need to know ANYTHING about the GT350 to observe the obvious public complaints (ironically in this forum) about the motor. Not sure why this is hard for you to comprehend. I’m not hanging around this section for any reason other than to defend myself at this point. You’re the latest guy...
  2. Final gut check - about to buy a GT350

That’s a tall task when you’re berated by those who feel the need to “defend” their car at the cost of ignoring their surroundings. I never said anything you can’t read countless times in this forum. Again, you seem to take pleasure in instigating and drawing up more discussion.
  3. Final gut check - about to buy a GT350

Let them fight their own battles. You are ironically the one bringing the subject back to life. You here for insults? That’s real easy when you’re just typing away and know you won’t be held accountable for your words. Who said I was an expert on GT350s? I don’t need to be an expert to observe...
  4. Final gut check - about to buy a GT350

I’m heartbroken. No need to tell me. Just do it. You’re a talker though. You’re “that guy.”
  5. Purchase a 2022 now or wait for the next model year? Opinions?

Dealers are horrible right now. I was talking with the owner of the Ford dealer I purchased my car from and he was saying that dealers are being phased out. He believes Ford will be similar to Tesla where you order direct for what you want and wait for production. Dealers will focus on service...
  6. Final gut check - about to buy a GT350

I offered my opinion on the original post where I stated that I believe the M1 was a better purchase than a used GT350 mostly due to reliability issues with the voodoo. You decided to chime in and offer nothing other than you think I’m trying to justify my purchase. That’s true in context, but...
  7. Final gut check - about to buy a GT350

Like I’ve said before, if you wanna disregard the overwhelming amount of public issues related to the voodoo engine on the forums, YouTube, Facebook, etc
cool. You can live in your fantasy world. I was in the market for a Shelby and I was overwhelmed with the amount of blown motors I came...
  8. Final gut check - about to buy a GT350

You’re not helping with anything. I never said the M1 was a GT350. I am however categorizing it as a performance vehicle in response to that thread.
  9. Final gut check - about to buy a GT350

I’m not sure what you’re looking for. The “data” is in this forum. The forum you’re commenting in.
  10. Final gut check - about to buy a GT350

Fair enough. It appears that the voodoo is very problematic on this forum and YouTube. For comparison, I would think if the coyote shared a similar percentage of problems you’d see way more “blown coyote” threads than “blown voodoo” threads on here which is not the case. Just based off of the...
  11. Final gut check - about to buy a GT350

Yea, I don’t mean to come off as an ass. Sometimes it’s difficult to get your opinion across without sounding like one though.
  12. Final gut check - about to buy a GT350

For sure. I agree, but would you say the voodoo issues fall under “typical performance car issues?” I mean, if the M1 stays close to it’s tried and true nature with reliability then it should not be in the this same category that you’re referring to.
  13. Tell us how you feel about the way your ‘22 GT runs…

I was always under the impression that the manufacturers documented exaggerated crank HP numbers. Seems as though I’m incorrect.
  14. Final gut check - about to buy a GT350

You throwing jabs my way or just cheerleading?
  15. Tell us how you feel about the way your ‘22 GT runs…

Well, I’ll be honest, I didn’t think the manufacturers were 100% honest with crank HP numbers.
  16. Final gut check - about to buy a GT350

GT seems like a really good deal compared to the Mach1, don't you think? ;) Base GT $40Kish Base M1 $58Kish For $18K I get: 3.73 diff, tremec transmission, throttle body, CA intake, HP bump, TQ bump, active exhaust, brembo, mufflers, badges, strut brace, engine cooler, transmission cooler...
  17. Final gut check - about to buy a GT350

Well, you’re somewhat fair in your passive aggressive response. Maybe, I’m trying to justify my purchase (basically what you’re saying) with my original statement. If they were making the GT350 now they’d be way more money— probably close to $75K. In a fictitious world, would it have the same...
  18. Mach1 front bumper

Yea, they’re crazy around here in New England too bro. Even 2021’s have markups. I found a 21 brand new never test driven for $58K locally. It had exactly what I wanted too. I did want the HP originally, but in the end I was happy to save the cash.
  19. Mach1 front bumper

There are a lot of differences between the GT PP1 and the M1. Not that you’re in disagreement with that. Just saying
The Tremec and engine mods were enough for me to buy one. PP1 specd out well will come in well over $50K. I just saw a PP1 for $59K today. That’s more than my base M1. 😂
  20. Can we consider the Mach 1 a Shelby GT350 with an automatic transmission?

I don’t to be honest and I’m $58K into this car. Don’t wanna sink more into it.
