    It stays disabled after ignition cycle. So it is really easy to choose to use it (spirited driving, track use or just being childish) or not to use it (polite daily driving). It is only a matter of few buttons to push on the steering wheel.

    Thank you for the explanation about framing wood. We know 5x10 cm "boards", which are called remelj. Your fingers has to be very strong. Mine were only shaking before spring jumped from my hand and roll under workbench.

    Not sure what 2x4 is, but I can imagine to put some kind of rod between clutch pedal and seat upholstery and then push the seat toward the pedal. Great idea, rayban1 !

    Hood latch is mechanical. But the hood latch handle is inside the car. So you have to open the drivers door first. Which requires to drop down window glass for a bit. For this you need electricity, I suppose.

    OP, for safety simply switch on all four turn signals while reversing. This will make you a lot more visible to the rest of the traffic. For brighter back up light use LED bulb.
