There is no return line because it is vta (vent to atmosphere) both pcv intake ports are capped and the catch can outlet is a breather.

Very true however I'm concerned with the turbo. A mild dropen in backpressure shouldn't change the sealing on a well built/designed turbo. Thank you, forgot to add that charge pipes were changed and intercooler was checked/cleaned when vta pcv was done. Only source of residual oil wouldve been in the intake manifold.

well I can say in tucson arizona that running a MAP intercooler for almost a year, I've had zero issues and hardly ever see CAT's 20-25deg over ambient temp even in 106 deg today. any aftermarket replacement is miles better than stock.

This 100%.. panel filters will net dang neat same whp gain as other intakes in near stock setups (near stock meaning roughly under 400hp and stock turbo). Only performance reason to get an aftermarket intake is if you're running a bigger turbo. The $300 intakes are using the same exact intake...
