For whatever reason my 2015 RS1 didn’t come with the Roush instrument panel overlays, and I really like the look as compared to the stock overlays. They’re not on the Roush Perfomance website. Does anyone out there know where I can find these to install on my car?
Is there such a thing as installing a catted (or catless) DP and not throwing a CEL? I have plans to install the Ford tune and would love to go with a DP in the process, but don’t want the engine to throw a code due to installing one. Any input is appreciated!
Most on here will tell you to def get the intercooler even if you only plan to lightly mod the car. The stock cooler is junk, and keeps the engine from performing at an optimal level even with a factory tune. Here in KS on a 90 degree day the car will retard timing from the first pull because...
I don’t think they’d be ok with them, but they would still have to prove that your aftermarket intercooler somehow caused a failure. I believe they would be hard pressed to prove something as simple as a larger cooler created or contributed to a defect, but that’s only my opinion.
I would doubt that to be the case. When you're at low RPM and punch it, the auto trans will downshift putting it in higher RPM range, rather than a manual in 6th and punching it that we've heard so much about being a big no no.
Thanks a lot D. If you get a chance, would you mind looking it over for any chipping paint, and/or corrosion anywhere? We have a lot of salt in KS winters.
Did you notice better performance, specifically not falling on its face in the higher revs?
What he said could really the the prob if you're still on the stock plugs with some miles on them (20k or more). Mine were waaay out of gap spec when I replaced them at 30k.
Here ya go...
