I'd like to see a black vinyl trim for the base rear defuser to make it look more like the premium pack - a black region with the body color on the diffuser panel.
I'm planning on using 3M film using knifeless cutting tape to add a black region to the rear facior, but it would be nice to have...
Have you driven a previous gen V6? If so how does the torque compare low down?
The main reason I went with the Ecoboost over the V6 was the lower than expected torque from the V6 low down. Especially with the automatic, it definitely needed to kick down to make significant progress. Even having...
I was in exactly the same position. When I checked again this morning - and you can never check too many times ;) - my order is now showing both a current build date of 10/27 and a current build week of 10/26... Yesterday it only showed the build date.
Looks like keeping off the complex options...
What browser are you using?
If you are using Google Chrome you can use Ctrl+U to show the source and the Ctrl+F to find text. Other browsers hide the view source option in one of the menus (Chrome is under the Tools sub menu).
For the first time I had a current build date of 10/27...
My dealer stated sometime between the end of December and sometime in March…
I ordered on 9/4 (Base Ecoboost Fastback + options) and today I saw a build date in the COTUS source of 10/27 for the first time!
Looks like I may be getting it earlier than expected :)

I have no issue with sound enhancement. I'd like the option to change the amount of noise cancelation and enhancement to fit my mood.
If the car performs well, I have no problem with how it sounds from outside, but everyone has their own opinions.
The brace is to make the structure stiffer and allow the suspension to do its job.
I'm planning on adding the upper and lower braces to sharpen up the handling and cut down on rattled over time.
The 310 will be with the engine out of the car on a dyno rig. The graphs include the drive line losses. The rear wheel horse power will always be lower - unless they significantly under rate the engine which is not likely.
I'm based in SE Michigan, where I work as an engineer for an automotive equipment supplier - I designed the control system for the riveting system used to assemble the 2015 Mustang's aluminum hood - as well as the body in white of the new F150.
I was looking at a sample of the Mustang hood...
Why would I want to pay 25% more for an admittedly much nicer sound and the additional performance I won't be able to use 99% of the time?
If I lived somewhere it didn't snow so much, I might have been able to justify it though, just for the sound...
I'm like you, looking at either the V6 or EB base model which will be my daily driver year round in Michigan - although I have a relatively short commute.
I'm leaning towards the EB, bit think the V6 might be better in the winter as having too much torque low down might give the traction...
