We have all three of our vehicles ceramic coated (as well as PPF'd) and I maintain them now that the hard part of correction and application is done. These are the first ceramics I've had, and I'm truly a believer. They're literally always clean and if not, $1.00 at the quarter car wash, a...
Our GT Aviator was in for some warranty/recall work and they hooked us up with a Mach-E GT Performance for a loaner. Side note, when my Raptor was in for service, they gave me a Lightning. Anyway, as a commuter car, I really liked it. Plenty plenty of power, smooth enough, nice stereo and...
I bought an identical set, had them Chromed, and also bought a platinum set when they were offered, in 19x10/11. Still running the stock wheels after all that. Sold the tires separately.
Wait what? That's a thing? How is that even a thing?
Two things - 1.) I really want to go to the smoked lights so please stop posting these wonderful pictures. 1a.) If I went smoked, not sure if I would go with the stock look or the Raxiom and their newer release, can't decide. 2.) Is it an...
We're staying at Great Wolf Lodge right down the street. Figure it'll give the wife and kiddo something to do while I'm doing my own childish things at the track 🤣
Maybe in your particular case, not in mine that I've noticed. I've put all but 36 miles in it and I've never witnessed anything. I'll crank on it next week or whenever I drive it next and pay explicit attention.
Normally? I have three vehicles with paint correction, PPF, and ceramic and none of them ever had "marring". That's kinda what the whole "paint correction" is for. To prep and polish and remove any issues with the paint before PPF application. If your shop doesn't tend to their messes from said...
Surely. I suppose you could get in-depth and see if something such as this exists for Mach 1 as well, or even try this method and see what happens...?
Hope you have a long long stretch of road!
I may be thinking too deep into another process as this relearning procedure is one after resetting some modules within FORScan. If the KAM reset is just as simple as unhooking the negative and going that way - I guess I've done that a few times 🤣
So I couldn't find the actual service procedure for the Mach 1 ten-speed transmission, though in the Raptor it's extremely specific about how to have the transmission relearn strategy. Just be sure if you do perform a reset, it may be way way more involved than simply driving around.
So I just thought of something - I think those threaded holes in the video that regards the installation are the same that we use for the jacking rails. Looks like we can have one or the other...
I had this same scenario of replacing a wheel happen to me when I had a complete replacement set purchased, and then chromed. I had one damaged wheel that I replaced with a new one, thus running three wheels that originally came on the car, and the new one. The damaged one and three new ones...
