so i ended up finding a driveshaft shop one piece driveshaft from a buddy in town and decided to give it a try. since i couldnt find any real impressions i figured i would just put it here in case anyone was curious like i was but didnt have any previous experience. i had read of the vibration...
  5. Car won't start

if you unplug the switch and open it up its pretty self explanatory. basically when you press the clutch pedal its pushes the plunger down and that pushes a metal piece inside down to create a completed circuit and then the starter can actually get the motor to fire. my switch went bad cause the...
  6. Question for experienced ceratec users

been using ceratek in my 17 gt for prob the last 30k + miles with zero issues what so ever. it will change the color of oil. it does come out slightly more brown/tan in the end. not as obvious on newer oil imo. from what i understand it should never restrict anything. supposed to adhere to bare...
  7. Car won't start

what happened with mine was the starter would spin and engine never fire. What I discovered was the clutch switch on the back of the clutch created a circuit to allow the car to start. My switch was faulty so the circuit was not completed. You can pull the plunger portion out and that can kinda...

  14. Help Me Pick Wheels!

  15. Has Anyone with a 15-17 S550 passed emissions with an 18 manifold with IMRC locked out.

18 mani, headers and tuned and will pass emissions. i dont have inspection just obd testing tho. follow drive cycle and should set ready. could also use 02 spacers if no inspections.
  16. Max tire size without changing the stock offset

i put a 9.5" pp wheel up front with a 285 and personally didnt like it. bulged a bit too much and was real close to strut. went with 275 on my last set and i like it a lot better and a lot less tramlining.

  18. 2018 Manifold Swap and broken stud

i was able to get to it with just the wheel off but its quite a pita to get to regardless. as for evap, i ended up grabbing some hose from autozone and it fits a bit more snug. you could always throw a little worm clamp on or something for piece of mind. i dont really see a reason it would just...
  19. Do I really need new lug nuts?

pretty sure it depends on the wheels. some forsure require aftermarket lugs but i doubt they all do.
  20. 2018 Manifold Swap and broken stud

pretty sure your vacuum routing is okay. looks to be the same as mine. as for the stud. i did the same thing and drilled out the old stud since its welded from underneath and put a thru bolt and nut on it.
