Total novice here on completely stock GT350, so maybe speaks to the GT350. I ran it down 1/8 mile strip twice last summer, it was my first time ever trying it. No one told me to dump clutch on last yellow, so my reaction times were close to 1s
I ran upper 9s even with those reactions...
Don't get hung up with it. It's just a recall like any other vehicle that dealership/Ford will fix for you. Probably can have it completed before you take delivery.
Agree with this comment! OP, your thread really went off!
The GT350 will ruin your opinion of other cars. I just test drove the Focus RS two days ago, said no thanks as it wasn't $38K thrilling IMO, I'd rather have a GT w/PP. The 350 has made me hard to please!
I haven't driven your...
Curious, who or where did you sell yours to for that much? I want the R calipers, but wouldn't want to pay more than $400 after reselling of my black ones.
My car has always vibrated. Need to have the dash removed and see if the left vent can be fixed. I have a napkin shoved in it now to keep it from driving me nuts.
I have noticed between 4K-5K rpms the dash vibrates horribly.
I have a napkin shoved in my vent above the headlight switch for now. Need to address this with a real solution in Spring. This car just flat vibrates! The vibration (especially at 4K-5K rpm in entire dash), plus I'm starting to not enjoy the Recaros and liked my GT Premium interior, would be...
Agree with this. IMO, this has been blown out of proportion by some. I continue to drive mine every chance I get without any concern. If something happens, Ford has to fix it under warranty.
Look at my previous Mustangs signature! Got lucky ($1K less than sticker because I purchased the black one) on returning the 50th at 4 months , which I hated (sorry owners). Dealer ended up taking huge loss on that as it sat for over a year and they dropped price to low 40s trying to offload...
63 degrees yesterday where I live, which is definitely above average! Was able to get her out and drive for a bit yesterday and first wash in 3 months. Spring can't get here soon enough! :headbang:
If you have all the electronics, you have it. If you don't, does your steering wheel have a little damper icon? If not, the modes are just throttle response and traction control. If it's a base, you would probably have a small spoiler unless someone upgraded it.
Track package has it...
FWIW, not sure how Ford will tune the MR for the Mustang, but I can tell you the GT350, even in the softest setting, is more firm than the 2015 GT w/Performance Package, which itself is much more firm than GT without it.
In my opinion, the GT350 MR is absolutely tuned for minimal body roll...
Roush AB + X-pipe for the win with GT. Possibly a tune with overrun built in too? Or... just get the GT350! The overrun on it is ridiculous and I'm sure people get annoyed with me. I love driving beside stock Camaro and Challenger folks, better yet rice cars and making the Shelby sound like...
Considerations for those with slight driveway inclines. I looked at bridgits and didn't think they were going to work. I had a metal shop custom make two ramps for my driveway with opening for water to pass in gutter. Cost me about $550. Sure, someone could steal them, but it's a two person...
I saw in MCA January magazine Ford Nationals (June 2-4) is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the GT500. There was a comment in there that MCA has heard rumors Ford may have a last-minute surprise. Sorry if someone already pointed this out.
I've been watching on TV most of the week. Very surprised at some of the purchase prices. This '15 GT350 went for about what I thought. I couldn't see it hitting the $100K mark. Not desirable enough IMO, especially not with some miles driven on it.
Question for some of you really into car...
Hey OP, not sure if this helps, but I often wonder if I made a mistake. I don't track, just enjoy as a toy car. But I definitely drive it. The GT350's performance is every bit worth value difference, it is that much better. That said, to really enjoy that performance you are indeed driving...
