I haven't had the opportunity to go on long road trip with my GT350 yet, and I don't log many straight highway cruising miles. Yesterday, I did round trip that took me on I-75 in FL, clear sailing 30mi each way. I reset my "Trip 2" both times and got an indicated (doubtful) 24.5 mpg and 25.5...
Actually, I don't know.
I bought a 8" Sync kit, installed it, and everything was fine except the cluster compass. So I called the vendor and asked them. They said, "Sorry, we forgot to to program it for a manual. Change it to 7D0-01-02 xx9x xxxx xxxx."
So I did, and it worked.
The code above is for a stick. I did not recall what it was programmed for an auto. As odd as it is, the code does make a difference between stick and auto for the cluster compass.
Same thing happened to me.
Do you have a stick or auto?
I had a donor auto Sync3 retrofit into my stick car. Had to change to:
APIM: 7D0-01-02 xx9x xxxx xxxx
This stopped the cluster N-S alternating
I run the exact same square tire setup -305 Nitto G2 on “R” Spec wheels on my GT350 - no issues nor any complaints. I don’t street race nor track, so . . .
But with 11.5” rears, the tire is not quite square with rim. You may not like that “look” and the rim is ever that much more exposed...
Yes - a 301A panel will work. However, as the 300 base does not come with dual climate control or heated/cooled seats, the passenger climate wheel and both seat temp buttons will not work. I converted my 19 base to 8" sync with the premium bezel with no issue. I did not bother me to have...
Agreed. I liked the look on the early S197, especially Bullitts;
But that was a much different offset/dish, and you could get away with a deep dish rim/lip on the wheel, like the original:
(look at that poke!)
Not so good look on S550s. They are $600+ customs pigs.
But the 2005-2020...
