How fast are you seeing the IAT's drop. I live in Arizona, so yes it's hot but with my Roush they dropped much quicker. I see people claiming 4-6 over ambient and 6-10 over ambient but I'm not seeing that. Most of the time it's 15 above or it takes 15 minutes of driving at 60-80 mph before it...
Just looked at the instructions on the website, and assuming I looked at the right one I did not see mention of the correct location of the MAF for the tune required version. Should it be inside of the heat shield pointed up or out of heat shield area in roughly in the same location and angle as...
So the MAF is not making contact with the hood in that position, but you feel IAT's are better?
@ PMAS should the MAF be in the position that dev1360 has his at by the seal of the heat shield or like MyFirst5.0 has his?
I also noticed the increase in IAT's from my Roush after install last night. Outside Temps were unfortunately about 92 degrees at 10 pm but IAT's wanted to hover still in the 109-115 range even while driving. Soon as car stopped went up much quicker than Roush. Never did see Temps close to...
So another AC thread.
My car has developed a metallic ticking sound in the engine bay, but only when the AC is running. Turn off the AC but leave the fan on and it's gone. Turn off AC and fan off and it's gone. Even more interesting seems to be happening in the hotter part of the day (Arizona...
Did u use the factory bolts to attach the bracket to the car, and then supplied bolts and nuts to the reservoir and bracket? Also what do you mean about their barreled out bolt hole on heat shield? Do you have pics?
I've got my intake in hand, now just waiting for Lund to get my revision to me... Not in a real big hurry as it's supposed to be 120 degrees here this weekend
Did it remove the drone? I've got the MBRP race, and it sounds much better than the street imho, but the drone is pretty annoying. Long tubes go on this weekend so curious to see if it changes the drone before swapping mufflers.
