I've got the Steeda diff bushings currently, but you can pick up the new BMR BK051 diff bushings for only $50 shipped while the sale is going on. That with either the cradle lockout from Steeda or BMR is a good starting point.
Are you installing the through bolts or just the standard bolts? If doing the through bolts let us know how it goes and if you have time, shoot a few pics. I will be swapping out the Steeda kit to the BMR setup with the through bolts, so I want to see how some real world installs go with...
Yes, I would like to know this also. I am a bolt on only car (high 11sec car) with manual transmission that runs at the track once a month on slicks and have the standard kit with the 10.9 hardware. I believe reading previously that the setup was perfectly fine and should not run into any...
If you are looking for honest, reliable and reasonable cost, check out PBK motorsports in Glendale. The owner John Rossman, has done a good majority of the work on my car, from suspension to Long Tubes. He does a good deal of work on quite a bit of mustangs in the Phoenix area. Look them up on...
Everything is off. Im convinced it's something I'm doing wrong... like walking and chewing gum at the same time. I wish there was a way to hack the factory launch control so you could just mash the pedal to the floor and hold 5500-6k without having any of the nannies on.
Took my GT to the track Friday night, with the race wheel setup. Running Hoosier slicks. Best I could muster was a 13.2 because every time I launched I bogged. 60 foots were between 2.2 and 2.5. For some reason I think when I launch it hits so hard my foot is inadvertently coming off the...
Had my DSS AL driveshaft installed on my MT82 car. Nothing is rubbing, but noticed that when shifting or putting in gear you get a more noticeable clank. I am assuming this is normal with how noisy they MT82 is and the aluminum DS is just amplifying it? Drive wise its fine. Not really noticing...
Those of you running slicks, have you had to upgrade to longer wheel studs, or did the track require them? I got my racestar and the closed end shank lug nuts, but am curious if any have replaced... If so which ones are you using?
Ok, so for those of us running the exact same setup i am concerned. What is the solution to fix this? I'd rather fix now than wait till im broken down on the road with my 4 year old in Arizona heat. Not the first I've heard of this.
