I read your post also. I just didn't have an answer. Have you put it in track mode or snow/wet to see if there is a difference? If not, I'd take it to the dealer.

It loosens up the traction control also. There is a marked difference in the way the car feels with the better throttle response. You should be able to tell the difference.

You can't pour anything in the gas tank without the special funnel in your trunk. Otherwise every time it rained you'd get water in your gas.
